And who would you replace him with?
-
Based on 2 games - a draw against a good Millwall side that made play-offs last season and an away defeat against a good Huddersfield side? You're talking ******** mate, there's 44 games still to play it's far too early to say where we'll finish this season.

James at RB and move Lallana to the right and bring in Holmes.

Huddersfield 3-1 Saints - Post Match Reaction

So he shut the stable door after the horse had bolted and we still conceded another goal! What amazes me is that he used his last sub swapping 1 CB for another with 10 minutes to play when we're 2-1 down! And we had Saga on the bench, so why not chuck him on? We didn't have anything to lose. -

So why did Pardew substitute Perry for Lancashire when we were chasing the game at 2-1 with 10 minutes to go? Saga was on the bench as well, seems like a very strange decision to me. -
My guess is that he prefers Wotton for his experience. Wasn't Gillett injured recently though? Perhaps he's not fully fit.
-
That was a cracking goal.
-
The captain of my sunday league team broke his knee and ruptured his sternum in a car accident recently, so we'll be without our best CB probably for the whole season. As a full-back I would be very happy to have JPS in our back four instead.
-
It's because he played very well for saints before. He was easily our best outfield player last season and he was only here for half of it. I'd love to see him come back, especially as he has the desire to play and do well for us and will presumably cost next to nothing.
-
Fair point I forgot about that. I seem to remember he lost the ball a couple of times, he didn't look comfortable.
-
I thought it was fairly sensible considering the inievitable low crowd. It would have been worse if we'd been spread out across all 4 stands.
-
I agree I thought he was excellent towards the end of the season. He seemed like the only player who actually cared and if he wasn't injured we might even be on +1 point in league 1 now. Has he just come back from injury? I thought he had and maybe he's not fully fit. Or like you say Pardew might not rate him or prefers the more experienced Wotton!
-
Gillet for Wotton if he's fit. Also I thought Dan Harding had another great game last night.

Going to away games! Anyone fancy going with me?

I went to Charlton on my own last year (the match at least, I had a beer with my sunday league manager who's a charlton fan). Not sure if I'll be around for it in September but will give you a shout if I am. -

Who else had Lambert tonight at 4-1 to score first

That would be quite funny, but I thought you sit in the Northam. -
Exactly it doesn't make any sense to me. Someone posted on here last week that it has something to do with trouble at the Doncaster game last season, but that sounds unlikely as well considering there have been plenty of games since then with the back rows still open.
-
Supposedly something to do with the corporate boxes at the back of the stand although they were all empty on saturday from what I could see.
-
I disagree
-
Almost immediately after the cut off point as well. What a pr*ck.
-
They have had big losses recently as well. They reported a quarterly loss of $203 million compared to a net profit of $1.1 billion for the same period last year.
-
They are ****ed it seems.
-
Also well done to those who don't live close enough to get an ST but make the journey down from London for about half of the games and still spend £300-odd on tickets alone over the course of the season ;-)

What kind of drum are you taking dicky?
