  1. That is a bit odd. I don't think they understand what the phrase means.
  2. And then after 48 hours he can issue the same statement again and we should almost definitely have a buyer.
  3. Exactly, the divisions caused by several years of Stanley has caused our fanbase to fragment. He needs to go or the club will never be united again.
  4. More importantly, who gives a toss? There's a lot of debates on this internet forum about Lowe, just because it gives us something to talk about, but ultimately what difference does it actually make to the club or fans?
  5. I agree with the idea but 16 would be too small I reckon. More like 22-25 would be reasonable.
  6. Exactly right. And I don't think you can really compare a typical job to playing professional football. 15,000 fans turned up to every home game to support them and pay their wages surely they feel that now they could repay some of that loyalty.
  7. Why do people always say this. It's not a ****ing job, they get paid to play football! Otherwise I agree Stu
  8. I think the point he's tring to make is that we're not the only club to suffer a very sharp decline. There's plenty of others he didn't mention as well.
  9. It must have been bad considering we got 3 points there.
  10. It's best to not think about it, wait until we get some actual news and just have a few drinks in the mean time.
  11. Unfortunately I doubt it will make a difference anyway because we're dealing with a bunch of incompetent tossers at the football league.
  12. Who cares about the club? All that matters is Rupert Lowe has gone
  13. You've missed the point I think. The fans aren't 'to blame' for the problems, but a lack of, or rather a huge reduction in support is one of the reasons we are in a mess. Obviously it would never have happened and I wouldn't expect it to, but just suppose we'd been getting gates of 30,000 all season regardless of perormances and results, I don't think we'd be in administration.
  14. Owns 25% of Gloucester rugby club apparently
  15. Probably not because it will only be 1 or 2 games in the summer.
  16. Why weren't you at the game?
  17. Of couse it isn't, that's just a very simplistic answer to a complicated question but I suppose it's easier for people to pick a scapegoat and place all the blame with him.
  18. Part of me hopes he comes back just to see alpine's reaction...
  19. I thought he was one of our most important players at championship level, although that's not saying much. He's not great technically but he ran his socks off and got the tackles in, often those kind of players are the most important in the team.
  20. I think they considered that hence the £90 minimum price. I think it's a smashing idea myself.
  21. Basically no one has a ****ing clue whats going on do they? It does make sense to prepare for the worst like you say, though, just because it will help to soften the blow slightly if 'the worst' does indeed happen.
  22. I agree. If Oz was even remotely amusing or witty then I wouldn't mind but he's obviously just a **** with too much spare time and nothing better to do.
  23. Have you really got nothing better to do with your time?
  24. Exactly. I don't really understand why the echo feels the need to analyse it in so much detail, we should forget about it and move on.
