Exactly right. And I don't think you can really compare a typical job to playing professional football. 15,000 fans turned up to every home game to support them and pay their wages surely they feel that now they could repay some of that loyalty.

I think the point he's tring to make is that we're not the only club to suffer a very sharp decline. There's plenty of others he didn't mention as well.

You've missed the point I think. The fans aren't 'to blame' for the problems, but a lack of, or rather a huge reduction in support is one of the reasons we are in a mess. Obviously it would never have happened and I wouldn't expect it to, but just suppose we'd been getting gates of 30,000 all season regardless of perormances and results, I don't think we'd be in administration.

I thought he was one of our most important players at championship level, although that's not saying much. He's not great technically but he ran his socks off and got the tackles in, often those kind of players are the most important in the team.
