I see your point and I think all the high earners at the club should be donating their wages, but you could look at it another way. The players wages aren't the only cost for the club so just imagine you are paying the wages of the stewards or the helpful people at the ticket office instead

I agree that we should probably just accept it as they're very unlikely to change their decision, but I don't agree that we should have been penalised in the first place. The rules were at fault and we were simply exploiting a loophole that the football league should have already closed.
