  1. I think that's the idea.
  2. I'm sure they did the same last season when we beat sheffield united to stay up, simply because they knew there would be a pitch invasion and were hoping to prevent it.
  3. It should go without saying but they're a bunch of ****s so what can you do?
  4. It's political correctness gone mad.
  5. Same here, Cumbria's a lovely part of the country. They're going down though so it's irrelevant really.
  6. Not all of them, just those stupid enough to react to a bunch of crazy islamists.
  7. Which made sense considering the protesters in that case were simply exercising their right to free speech and were being confronted by a bunch of morons who had turned out to cheer on soldiers returning from afghanistan as if it was VE day.
  8. Why would it change?
  9. I doubt he'd have kept us up anyway.
  10. I see your point and I think all the high earners at the club should be donating their wages, but you could look at it another way. The players wages aren't the only cost for the club so just imagine you are paying the wages of the stewards or the helpful people at the ticket office instead
  11. It wasn't open for the palace game and the attendance was 23,000+ so I doubt it will open this time.
  12. It is a nice walk across the bridge though.
  13. Southampton Central or woolston and walk over the itchen bridge.
  14. I wouldn't call reaching the FA cup final 'going downhill'
  15. I thought Euell did quite well this season.
  16. When there's a big demo/crowd trouble the OB will inevitably slap a few people about, especially if you give them an excuse to (even if its a flimsy excuse), so if anyone is stupid enough to play up in those circumstances they deserve a smack.
  17. Probably no one but that's not the point. I don't know the official rules but if they don't refer to a company 'inextricably linked' to the FC then we haven't broken them.
  18. Well it could be worth challenging it then. I realy don't know enough about it but if the rules can be enforced by law and we technically haven't broken them then we should appeal. Can we afford the legal costs though?!
  19. I agree that we should probably just accept it as they're very unlikely to change their decision, but I don't agree that we should have been penalised in the first place. The rules were at fault and we were simply exploiting a loophole that the football league should have already closed.
  20. We can go to Charlton as well.
  21. This is very important now, as we are looking more and more like a club that's about to die.
  22. Don't know but probably not more than 20,000
