I thought that too, especially after his commetns about it being lowest priority, happy to be out of it, fewer games etc etc. Why bother playiong in the event then? Wjy not save the entrance fee? I find it totally bizarre that people, like you, StRichmond, think that it is an either/or: either you win the "tin pot" trophy or you get 3/6/9 (come on, make up your mind; excatly how many points extra do you get if you don't win the"tin-pot" trophy???? Mills on Radio 5 spoke very highly of Pardew. But I guess what the hell does he know compared to Sirking saint and the other arm chair "experts" here. i can't undertansd why they got rid of Hughtomn, who had doen agreat job I thought. I agree, plus 2 stats are missing: - pass completion rate - tackles won I think he's OK, but that's about it. He seems to make showy, low percentage and low upside passes too much: its fine if you complete 25% of your passes if those 25% have vision, split the defense and put someone through, but not if its a cross-field ball that puts you back where you were. Oh well, you pays yer money, you takes yer choice.
