Its a shame this new pan-European party called the Newropeans (although at the moment I think they're just up for election in France, Germany and the Netherlands) are not up for election. They're politically very close to the party I usually vote for and they're more European. But I guess I'll have to look at the EP Groups. But let me ask you this, why should there be different national candidate lists if the parties are "european"? The argument against that is that some nations wouldn't get represented but why would this be the case? If we did vote European then for instantce the PES or EPP-ED would be forced to work more closely together in campaining and create mixed candidate lists. Would be much better then the current system in my opinion.

Besides that trade embargos just hurt the alrady impoverished population. They will suffer because of it and the North Korean leadership couldn't care less about it.

I'm voting in Sweden for the first time ever and I'm a bit frustrated. They don't really have parties that fit my Dutch profile, why the hell can't i vote for a Dutch party? (or rather a European party representing the EU and not a national representative for a European parliament) Its a European election, shouldn't I be able to vote for any party running in the elections....
