Why?
-
Not very good since they were made by a touchline camera and there is some Dutch interviews in between the highlights but I guess its better then nothing.
-
Penalty Ajax, Suarez scores.

What's the Champions League got to do with Ajax?

There's a TVU channel that usually has cricket coverage. -

Swedish football season update..
Saint Martini replied to david in sweden's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
And Dahlberg has been used in both defence and midfield this season. Djurgårdens are in the middle of some sort of experiment as well. They hired that manager of Umeå IK Ladies after he led them to several championships but so far it is one huge dissaster. I'm quite sure several supporters are longing for the days of Siggi Jónsson again. -
Does anyone know an online betting hop where I can bet that Ajax score more then 5 goals (or something along those lines?). I've looked around a bit but couldn't find anything.
-
When they played Bristol earlier this week they won 4-0 and squandered a lot of chances, I'm going for 6-0.
-
And if that doesn't work, AT5 (a Amsterdam based TV-station) will show extended highlights of the game and they will probably be put online as well.

http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/homepage/Football-fans-arrested-Bristol-City-friendly/article-1172120-detail/article.html A small group of Ajax fans were apparently looking for trouble (and found some) in Bristol. Lets hope they behave better in Southampton.
-
I wouldn't count on it, nowbody showed the Bristol City vs Ajax game so I'm guessing nobody will show our game against Ajax. Highlights will probably come up on the Ajax channel (http://www.ajax.tv) a day after the match.

Cavendish lost the green jersey to Hushovd today, I'm not sure he'll get it back.
-
If Kenwyne Jones was worth 6 million then I'd say 5 million for Frazier Campbell isn't that bad. They've performed similarly in the Championship, the only difference is that Jones didn't have a failed season at Spurs inbetween and that Frazier Campbell is younger.

I think Wotte may be done with being professional (or he's being screwed by the new management). In the Dutch media he is reported as saying that Saints refused him permission to talk to Al Ismaily because they wanted to keep him to his contract. Now, I don't mind him going, I never really liked him anyway but if this is true then he has been screwed (and we've been rather stupid since it would have saved us a payment for ending his contract). On the other hand, he might be talking ******.
-
I know there are other options around but I think that Davis has shown that he cares about this club and I think it would be a shame to lose a club captain. Stability at a club doesn't just come about through manager or owners, these include players as well.
-
So far nothing on the WHU site about him signing. Fingers crossed.
-
Consider it done!
-
Call him now and tell him we will match any contract offer from West Ham!
-
Kudos!

Good stuff, now lets hope we'll get the investment we've been craving since 2003! Our new home shirt?

Fry - Takeover is almost complete. Funds being transferred.

Here's me hoping the funds are actually there (plus some aditional funds to buy Real Madrids rejects ). -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/8138203.stm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ikechi_Anya Quite an achievement getting a player that doesn't have a very impressive club history to get a contract at a club like Sevilla.

I don't think Cavendish will get enough points from just his stage wins. Riders like for instance Hushovd and Freire will get points form intermediate stages as well and Cavendish just doesn't handle hills that well. I doubt if he will actually make Paris, if I were him I'd leave after a few more wins and try to make it wins in the tree big tours in one year by going to the Vuelta as well. Tomorrow should be interesting, a team time trial is always fun, especially so early in the Tour.

He's won most, if he's actually the best ever I don't know.
