Don't wish to add fuel to the flames, but was at the game yesterday & from conversations I had, I can certainly back up the OP. Not saying I agree either way, but OP message was what I was told.

Was good value in the Help the Heroes game earlier in the day aswell. Was more than happy to sign autographs for the kids - has piled on the pounds, but played well for the whole game.

Great afternoon for a good cause. Was lovely to show my nipper who MLT is. And he did not disappoint! Striking a 25 harder into the top right hand corner & scoring a trade mark penalty. If only he was 10 years younger. Game finished 5-5 with the Services scoring a screamer late on. Saints won penalty shoot out 4-2. Paul Merson man of tha match. But just how big were Nicky Banger & Flash. Only disapointment was the crowd turn out

Remember at the Dell, shouting at BT as he stood waiting to take a free kick. I basically shouted that he was useless & he should let someone else take the freekick (TBF he had been garbage up to then) ...... he strolled up & placed in the top corner & then went on an amazing goal scoring run that season.

2 debuts, 1 makeshift rightback - is it any wonder the defence looked a bit nervous having never played as a unit before. Jeez I wish some of you guys would cut the team some slack, with injuries forcing Adkins hand, I thought they stood upvery well to a physical Forest team.
