  1. Thanks. So it'll be on the OS soon?
  2. Good point.
  3. I'm hopeful this will be made official on the OS and OT feeds tomorrow. We had a similar wait for confirmation of Clyne signing earlier this summer where he tweeted he'd signed on twitter, but it then took the club until 2/3pm the next day to confirm it. I would imagine the reason it hasn't been made official yet is because he's getting last minute Visa documents from the British embassy today in Rome and then flying to Southampton tomorrow to join up with his new team mates.
  4. Agreed. He's a terrible commentator. I remember him having an on-air argument with Jonathan Legard during the 2010 World Cup where Lawro called legard a 'muppet' whilst the match was being played out live.
  5. It's not the majority though. The MINORITY of people on twitter are self-publicising look at me ****s but you get people like that just walking down Southampton high-street at the weekend. Twitter enables people an inside-view of the lives of professional sportsman, reality tv stars, journalists, actors, musicians etc. The thing I love most about twitter is knowing Jos went fishing today, its a redundent piece of information but I (and many MANY) others find it cool that we get this insight into the lives of professional sportsman/journalists/actors/musicians etc. Alot of people just have twitter to follow certain people they like for news/updates etc. some people on there are complete ****s, but you get complete ****s in many walks of life. People don't understand twitter fully, don't like it for some reason (maybe because its popular? maybe because its one of those new-fangled social-networking contraptions?) so it's 'fun' for people to knock the people that have twitter accounts and post regularly on there. It's just ignorance pure and simple, if people actually went on twitter, got an account got used to it, got used to the intricacies involved in posts and realised that posting about what you had for dinner/tea/ is not all it consists of then maybe people would realise what a great tool it is to interact with other Saints fans/certain Sports fans/fans of a particular musician.
  6. Can QPR just be renamed Has-Beens FC?
  7. He's one of about 5-10 that are annoying. To generalise ALL Saints fans on twitter as 'f**king tedious' and 'muppets' is pure ignorance.
  8. And what an ignorant dinosaur stuck in the 70s you are sir. What do people have against Twitter, people use it to talk about Saints, occasionally meet up before/after games for a pint and keep up to date with Saints news, what is so wrong about that?!
  9. What a sweeping generialisation. 5-10 saints fans asking Alan Nixon an update on Saints news every 5 minutes does not mean EVERY saints fan on twitter does that you ignorant cretin. SOME saints fan on twitter are f**king tedious as you put it but 95% are just ordinary Saints fans that like to keep up to date with Saints news via the medium of twitter, what's so wrong about that?
  10. Never seen him tweet before anything about this deal before, BS again I'd say.
  11. I've given up on Fonte, thought he was quality in League 1, looked dodgy at times in the Championship and now we're in the Prem he looks even dodgier. Hooiveld - Yoshida is now my preferred CB pairing.
  12. I got mine thru on Saturday.
  13. Not heard he/she tweet anything about this deal before, so unlikely to be accurate I'd say. Also that source looks like a fanzine-type site not a legitimate Italian media football website.
  14. Always respected Sunderland, just one idiot on that thread and one Spurs Troll the rest were very sensible Sunderland fans complimenting us that we had 25K+ attendances in League 1, how loyal we are to stick with the club through thick and thin, and that we've made some very shrewd signings for relatively low fees. They're fine by me, also love the Stadium of Light, lucky to have gone there in 06/07, amazing stadium.
  15. Liverpool want Dempsey, they moved on from Ramirez weeks ago.
  16. Apparently having a medical in Rome, hence the lack of info coming out of Bologna/Saints at the moment.
  17. Don't know why everyone's so bothered about Sponsorless shirts. I think they look ****e without a sponsor. The 125th Anniversary home/away's were an exception, obviously didn't because they were special and the Red Sash on the home kit would have looked terrible with a sponsor on top of it. When I last bought an England shirt (AGES ago) I'd get the front number print on it just to make it look a bit less bland. Have always thought sponsors look cool on Club football shirts and think International Teams' kit would look better with them on to make them look less bland.
  18. Are you serious? I got mine through the post on saturday
  19. Very Postive at the moment, god knows what tomorrow has in store.
  20. I've heard racism in the Northam before and duly reported it, I'm also 95% sure I heard someone at Man City in the row in front keep shouting racist remarks at Guly, but couldn't hear properly above the noise that day to be sure 100% and properly report it. If Guly was white he wouldn't get anywhere near the abuse he does.
  21. Always thought the whole Guly issue was subconcious racism. Puncheon was the scapegoat before, now Guly is the one all the boo-boys shout at. Yet Lallana/Ward-Prowse/Davis give the ball away and hardly a peep
  22. Alpine_Saint and Dalek's love child
  23. Spoke to Nicola yesterday he said the deals dead, and we're now turning our attention to David Silva
