  1. Not gonna happen
  2. Arsenal, United, Liverpool and Newcastle seemed to do alright last season
  3. Guarantee Ramirez won't sign
  4. Is this thread just another MLG witch-hunt?
  5. Terrible from what I heard sitting in Block 9
  6. Apart from last season we never have a good start to the season no matter what league we're in (Championship 2007/08, 2008/09 League 1 2009/10, League 1 2010/11 just some recent examples) For me 6, I'm really enjoying the PL at the moment not really bothered that we haven't managed to beat the Champions at their own stadium or a tough Wigan side that beat Arsenal at the Emirates, Liverpool at Anfield, A very good Newcastle side 4-0, Man United 1-0 at the end of last season. ALOT of people underestimated Wigan (Maybe the team included?) and thought we'd win this 4/5/6-0, I didn't. The points will come. Keep the faith, Believe
  7. Thought we were unlucky not to get a draw, Wigan had 2 clear-cut chances and took them. Just wasn't our day, you have them in any division, just look at Leicester at home in January last season? Bristol City home/away last season, Rochdale home/Walsall away 2010/11 season. Just wasn't our day at the office, thought we showed more than enough for this division in the first half, keep the faith, We've still got 36 GAMES to go!!
  8. Honestly don't think we'll sign anyone else before the end of the window.
  9. It's all about Turtle Bay.
  10. Lawro's Predicted we'll win... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19326517
  11. 1. Rasiak V Derby (NPC Play-Offs 2006/07) 2. Chaplow V Man United (FA Cup 2010/11) 3. Davis V Man City (2012/13 PL)
  12. You're right Turkish, there's no sarcasm, petty in-fighting and general obnoxiousness on this thread, how can it be Saints related? One/Two Saints fans are doing a charity cycle ride, that's Saints related isn't it? In other news, got my first puncture today ( ) was about 2 miles from home so managed to push the bike home with not much trouble, tried repairing the inner tube but couldn't manage to do it so replaced it with my spare and it seems ok now...getting the wheel on/off was a nightmare as it was the back with the rear derailleur/chain etc. all getting in the way. Managed to do everything ok though, and re-attach the gears as they were meant to be re-attached so it's all good Doing another 25-28 mile ride on Sunday around Andover which I'm looking forward to, hoping a result against Wigan on Saturday will spur me on for the ride!
  13. Just re-iterating what we already know. Think Ramirez has burnt his bridges at Bologna so he'll be going someone, I'm just hoping and praying that it'll be us
  14. Thanks, I definitely want to do one next year as I want to set myself a challenge to keep me training, motivated and determined to succeed over the Summer months and also give something back to a great cause as I probably haven't given enough to charity's over the years. At the moment it's either the one I mentioned (London to Brussels via Amsterdam) or a D-Day London to Paris via Normandy, both have the same registration amounts attached (£99), they are both the same mileage, but something tells me the London to Brussels will be much flatter than going through Normandy in France! Hopefully I'll finally make a decision over the next couple of weeks of which one to commit to and put the details on here in due course
  15. Let's tear 'em a new one?
  16. SO SO Proud of the lads after the game, still absolutely beaming with pride now. Gave the champions a run for their money in their own back yard. So pleased for Rickie getting off the mark in the Prem, He's been waiting 12 years to get the chance to score that goal today. I know we lost eventually but most teams are gonna get spanked 2/3/4-nil by City at the Etihad so I think we did bloody f'ing well.
  17. Good to see the training and everything is going well. I'm seriously considering doing a London to Brussels via Amsterdam charity ride in May 2013, the Sponsorship target is pretty high (£1500), I was just wondering, what happens if I don't reach it, would I have to find the rest myself?
  18. Still don't think it's going to be happen, just great to see us linked with a player of Ramirez' quality.
  19. I miss Southend
  20. Just excited to have genuine proof of the kind of signings that are possible with Cortese at the helm.
  21. Don't think anyone's getting carried away, just think we're all getting excited for the ambition on show by Cortese. And it's an IF its proven to be a load of old ****** not WHEN at the moment, no one really knows either way at this stage
  22. Just never been particularly fond of plastic fans is all. Don't care with us because it brings money into the club but is annoying to see people that have almost 0% interest in football go 'Reading were Champions then' a few days after the season ended.
  23. My cousin's husband (who is an Arsenal fan) suddenly started to take note of Reading's fixtures at the end of last season....he actually went to their game against Palace (2-2 I believe) which he hasn't done for the best part of 6 years, and hardly ever goes to watch football or even follows fixtures of his supposed club. I also know a friends mum who last time Reading were in the Prem bought a season ticket, and then as soon as they went down she hasn't been since. This just sums up the bandwagon fans Reading attracts.
  24. Fee agreed according to @Saint_Elvis on twitter. His words: 'Those asking source etc. agent of player, deal should be sealed by friday midday.' This isn't a known twitter bulls**tter so there may be some legs in this...
