  2. 1pm? We were ensconced by 11.45 am.
  3. Safety first, Peyton.
  4. Marian Pahars?
  5. Try following the Transfer Window thread. It will attempt to put you off supporting this useless, up for sale, moribund club. Hope you get a ticket. We have no spares.
  6. How bored has Simon Jordan looked throughout this whole farce? God he must be desperate for a wage. Unless he is kn obbing Natalie after.
  7. Don't bother. We haven't signed anyone.
  8. I saw him on the box a few times this morning. I was repulsed, but it was still better than watching England's latest feck-up down under.
  9. Subversive

  11. Wanna bet? I bet Dan Harding wont be pleased to see him. He had just got back in the 1st team over xmas and will now have Foxy picked ahead of him again.
  12. Oh well. Hull here I come.
  13. 45 would still have beaten Hereford. Barnet would have finished 4th from bottom.
  14. PEDANT ALERT 19 last week.
  15. I refuse to watch it, but is Mike Hancock one of the 10?
  16. It was their revenge on us. We had beaten them in the Cup a fortnight earlier. The league game was quickly added in that particular week, so as to let Steve Williams use up his suspension and not miss the 4th round at the Skates.
  17. Well they did and we would. http://www.statto.com/football/teams/southampton/1989-1990
  18. Our very own radio station.
  19. Correct. Earlier that season we lost 3-0 at Everton and 4-0 at Arsenal and didn't create a chance in either game. That was still better than the 2-1 defeat at QPR, who were bottom at the time. We were truly awful and our goal was from Casey in the last minute.
  20. Different seasons. The losing run was 88/89. The 6-2 was 90/91.
  21. SSN have just played a bit of MP's press conference and it wasn't being translated by his little chum. Sounded more like Perez.
  22. Channon left in the summer of 1977, the same time that Nicholl signed. He then returned in Sept 79, so they played together for 3 seasons until we released Channon at the end of 81/82. Nicholl playing for one more season, before coming back as manager in the summer of 85.
  23. I thought it was Tim "Tijuana" Mumford.
