Salisbury Vs Millwall at The Dell Fa Cup 1979, anyone remember?
Lets B Avenue replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
A Millwall fan left The Warrens from an upstairs window and saw more of Pound Tree Rd than he did of the game. -
How about offering it to a fan with a painted face and foam hands. They will then be seen by the viewing millions who will see what fantastic support we have.

3 weeks before, We lost 5-2 at home to ManU and 1-0 at Spurs in between.

Adam Buxton has had his contract cancelled. Will he be back on 6 music?
-
He wants to join his favourite manager. Nigel Adkins.

I know the train fares went up, but that's ridiculous. -
That would have been his debut in March 67. Chivers scored for us. I was at that game and the 2 shown on yew chew. We were behind the goal we scored at but not the ones wearing colours, who if I recall got a good kicking later on. That was in 1971, the week after Hughie Fisher had his leg broken by Bob Wilson and most of Wolverhampton is still stuck in that time zone.

his Were they soiled by him sha gg ing his sister-in-law? -
Mane missed the 5th penalty in the shoot out. They lost 5-4 to Cameroon. It was a **** penalty. The other 9 were great. At least he can come back to Scouseland, as they've missed him so much!
-
I wonder if they can get him to stand up on the ledge and do his "Statue of Liberty" impression?

Make sure Bobby Charlton gets wheeled out on TV, the night before, to predict a 6-0 win for them.
-
What were you doing posting this 10 minutes into the 2nd half?
-
Got to win it or it goes to 7th place. Like it did for us 2 seasons ago.
-
They were apparently boarding 2 planes. Whether that is now the norm after that South American team got wiped out, I don't know, but Virgil was not in the first group. Probably getting as much treatment here as possible before flying up later, I would hope.
-
Great first post.
-
And also any new signing could not play in the 2nd leg (even if he wasn't cup tied) if they signed after the 1st leg had been played.
-
You're not very good at this quiz lark, are you? As has previously been stated, Liverpool in 2001 and Chelsea in 2007 have also done it.
-
When was this? All I can remember over the past few seasons is you happily predicting defeat after defeat and then going very quiet when we won. And a quick check of your posting history backs this up.

haven't seen anyone comment on this. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38671703 Nice to see him back in work, even up there! 3 years out of the game though.

Saints 1 Norwich 0 - For Once We Score A Late Winner!
Lets B Avenue replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Agreed. We were all saying how much he has regressed since his debut against Everton. It started with that stupid sending off in the Reserve Cup Final, later that season. Not quite sure how "SNSun" thought he was "composed". He certainly wasn't when he was twice running and jumping under a bouncing ball, like a demented Jack Russell. Hadn't seen that since the legend that was Lee Todd.
