The point he is making is if we dont get in new players we may not perform well at the start of the season. My point is I agree with that but fully expect new players in the near future of course we could both be wrong but only time will tell.

Why dont you just kick the cat instead of getting angry on here. Alpine does appear to have a valid point but we will have to see how valid as time goes by as I expect some activity with regard to transfer is happening

Your thread is interesting you are right nothing has been heard of Pardew as you say Looked on the Ipswich Website and there are a number of stories with Roy Keane involved Perhaps Pardew stories will come out next week

Sorry totally disagree we need new players and you would have thought Pardew would have brought some in by now as Derry says we did lose 13. The sooner they come in sooner they gel which was the point being made earlier. So in my opinion you are talking Bollix if there are not some new players by next Wednesday but if there are I will be quite happy and you wont be talking Bollix. If we are to get promotion we need to hit the grounding running as suggested by other posters

Yes I agree with you but if another poster had posted this thread I think we could have discussed the topic without having a go at dear old Alpine Pardew did make a great deal of the fact last season that he missed Bosman Bargains as he did not join SFC until Mid July so I had expectations that we would have had a couple more signings by now

Who knows but another chance to engage with fans missed

No because we need another half a dozen players to make up the squad it is OK having 11 good players but if the replacements for injury or suspension are crap then problems arise. Look at England when Ferdinand was injured we got Upson playing we need four five new players But I do expect some signings this week
