Barnard has started the last three games has he not perhaps he was bought to score goals something he did regularly for Southend
-
I think he thought going to Southampton was not a good move for Danns
-
David Connolly is also getting closer to a return from his groin injury. Possibly because we have no out and out Strikers in the event of injuries now that Saga and Paterson have gone.

Eleven wins is OK in the League but not outstanding. The JPT and FA Cup runs have been very good and I am enjoying the season. However if as some people suggest the club's goal this season is to get promotion then it is slightly disappointing especially as the team does not seem to be playing very well. We may get promotion but Statistically seems very unlikely
-
Well if you are happy with that it is OK by me. But thankfully AP disagrees and has bought in both Barnard and Puncheon
-
What happens if either is injured or suspended It is not that we have many other strikers
-
What about the money the club has earned during the cup runs

Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints
John B replied to Somewhere In Northam's topic in The Saints
I sort of feel like that too but I think it maybe because Hammond is currently not playing. Just be interested now in what team we will be playing. -
One Wayne Bridge ...theres only one Wayne Bridge

It would be pretty devasting to Bridge if it happened whilst they were together which is what is assummed but not entirely confirmed IMO -

Did it happen before or after Bridge split from this woman? It keeps saying Bridge's Ex -
Yes you are of course correct http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southampton_Saints I did not realise there were two Charlie Knotts as the cricketer one you mention would have been in the fifties when the stadium was sold. I think he was the Rod Bransgrove of his day a very approachable man who held a high position with Hampshire CCC
-
Me too but a bit of a Tory himself I feel is Mr Blair
-
If we get in Puncheon who is a winger I believe how are we going to play?
-
I thought we were good against MK dons for the First half but i agree we must play like that on a regular basis in order to be confident of promotion next season
-
That would probably be better

The Cowherds is on the Avenue I thought Cant remember a Pub near the Stadium as I always went to the Cowherds when watching Cricket at Northlands Avenue

Just not optimistic as you perhaps At the moment I just feel that the team is missing something probably players with class that can alter a game though being in League 1 I maybe deluding myself. I dont think we are doing badly but getting back to the Premiership in four and a half years seems very remote and will take hard work not just buying in players I saw somebody suggesting that after the Norwich game we will be unbeaten to the end of the season although I would like it to happen from experince things go wrong and matches are not won like Brentford in the week. So my expectations are a great deal lower than most posters on the Forum which may give rise to your view .

They fed me before the Luton match FOC and the London Pride was excellent

What does supporting the Saints actually mean. When I was younger I watched the Saints regularly both home and away and was a season ticket holder for a short time. Now I am older and live away from Southampton I watch them sometimes and when I am at home follow each match on the Internet if out during a match contact my brother by phone to find out the score. In 1978 our promotion year I went on a three month trip to Asia and Australia but managed to find out the Saints score in each of their League games somehow or another . At the moment I just feel that the team is missing something probably players with class that can alter a game though being in League 1 I maybe deluding myself. The problem is that FF probably does not like the Bull**** PR put out by Football Club chairman to woo the fans. I am very pleased that NC is staying although I did not really expect him to go but that does not mean that sometimes perhaps he spouts Bull**** whilst being interviewed Does not mean we dont suuport the Saints.

And Ron Davies
-
If he plays I think we may have a chance of Winning
-
