  1. Funny enough so did I - then walked up West End Road reading it
  2. But if you look at our last seven or eight games we dont get to the Play Offs It is going to be close but it is important to beat the clubs in the top ten of the table something we have yet to do.
  3. The Forest Games in 1963 were pretty special considering we were 3 0 down with 12 or so minutes to go to Win at Spurs with 40000 or Saints Fans was a tremendous occassion.
  4. Precisely If we beat the Lower Teams we dont get relegated and to get to the play offs we have to beat the top teams. We are about 15 points from the play offs at the moment if we are less than 10 points from the play offs at Christmas then anything can happen
  5. I agree but we must start beating the top teams such as MK Dons and Oldham
  6. The only problem I see against us getting a good run is injuries as I dont feel our back up players are good enough. This year the injury situation except for Murty has not been bad but that has not always been the case in other seasons
  7. Most of the disappointment I think was caused by financial constraints in the past. Now that has been resolved I am sure we are going to progress. We had to sell players to meet the Stadium costs etc in the past now if we sell a player we can probably buy another to replace him like McGoldrick out Lambert in Surman out Hammond in

    Lallana

Exactly but it did take a couple of months of frustration for Fans. His shooting seems a lot better than last season too lets hope he stays here for sometime like Terry Paine and John Sydenham did all those years ago .
  9. It is nice and easy with no really bad financial problems I would have thought. Much easier now than ever before
  10. Lets hope we will be able to keep our players for next season and they dont move on to higher division clubs always a danger with the likes of Lambert Schenderlein and Lallana

    Feeling Good

Of course we are not going to win all our games but the future looks bright as we will win a lot

For the first time for ages I felt sure we would win I finally think the bottom has been reached and we are on the way back. The formation now uses Lallana's talents to the full he can now shoot so very well done Pardew Wilkins Downes and Adam himself. Hope he does not move away until we have been promoted
  13. Feeling quite confident after your post a good win on the cards I think
  14. Yes but is probably warmer there
  15. Or do they keep him if he is doing well and sack him if he is not
  16. Totally agree but it seems very difficult to discuss various aspects of football without some moron bring up past Chairmen
  17. No I am not sure about Pardew yet I agree I but of course I dont think he should be sacked. There was just a lot of talk last weak saying that stability was the most important thing in a Football Club as clubs who keep there managers for the long run seem more successful I am now interested in whether Wycombe and Tranmere will now prosper.
  18. That may well be true but at the moment I think you will find that we are in the relegation zone
  19. The problem when we got relegated was that we had a poor team
  20. I have him on ignore so I dont usually see his posts Perhaps you should do the same;)
  21. I know I started this thread seven minutes before

    Barnes Sacked

    I know I started another thread http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=17141
  23. Although I dont think we will get relegated we are in the relegation zone and according to the BBC both Wycombe and Tranmere have parted with their managers. So other clubs do not stick with their managers very long despite all good words about stability it is results which count in the end as suggested by some posters. Will be interesting to see how these clubs start playing now
