That may well be the case but a least something could have been done if things went wrong. But now we cant really get rid of Pardew who now has a run of Twenty league games with only one win

I think your continual fixation with Alpine is making a fool of you. His point is very valid. But I dont think Cortese has much room to monuerve if he had waited kept Wotte appointed a DOF then things could have easily changed if results do not improve
