  1. Norwich are after the S****horpe Manager
  2. Obviously you could be right but the writing was on the wall from when Hone said players had to be sold in Nov 2007 if things had to been done then perhaps the situation regarding Lowe's return would not have happened. Although the Administration and Relegation for a lot of people has been traumatic for me personally it has not as with a debt free club we have the oppurtunity now to go forward and hopefully get out of League 1 but as you say it will take time to build a team. It is not going to be easy as I cannot see many of this team being outstanding in League 1 and able to prosper in the CCC.
  3. I just feel that Skacel McGoldrick Surman BWP Euell Saegis have left and have not all been replaced
  4. John B

    Lee Holmes

    But Pullis is not there:D
  5. Have you seen Lambert's Goal http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8204321.stm Very Good
  6. But Strikers cost Money
  7. Yes I did it before going to the pub not after
  8. Exactly - I dont know what they think whether I should I dont know but it would be nice to know
  9. Yes I agree but is this a one off or are we going to buy our way out of League 1 like Notts County are doing in League 2. If they get to League 1 and we are still there it may mean there is one promotion spot less which concerns me a bit
  10. Are you completely sure that every SFC signing in Lowe's time was carried out by him with no input from anybody else? I thought there was a number of people involved in choosing players including the scout. That method seems better than the Burley approach where any old pro was taken on especially if he knew George. I just want a method where we get in decent players appropriate for the league we are in something which has happened rarely in the last few years. Lambert seems a good signing and lets hope we can say the same about Harding and Murty if he remains fit.
  11. Why ? We have no idea of the aspirations of the new owner except they want to get to Premiership like every other club.
  12. It is a shame that we can not see world class players for the Saints
  13. Agree
  14. It was 66 actually and was a nerve racking experience until Terry Paine scored. WE were late in getting back to Waterloo but British Rail put on a Special Train for us
  15. 1963 FA CUP RUN The game at White Hart Lane is the best Saints Game I ever went to Orient 66 was nerve racking 9 3 Win over Wolves 100 Goals in Div 3
  16. Well have we a £0 m £1m £2 m or £5m budget for players We have no idea what is being planned
  17. Or here when Wilde and Crouch were here. The question regarding the budget is the most interesting because what money is available for transfers
  18. Neither do I I dont really know what position he can fill Although very skillful he does not seem to be a striker winger or central midfield player
  19. This is a forum I believe where people can express their opinions we all have differing views just accept that. The idea of MLT/KK running the club did not appear to be realistic to me unfortunately.
  20. The trouble is that other people cannot have an opinion although MLT was the most skilful player I feel that Ball and Paine were better allround footballers who achieved more in no way am I critising MLT as a player.
  21. Totally Agree by the way I think Wotton Rasiak is the only Lowe player apart from young Morgan
  22. I predicted a loss but I am not particulary pleased with progress are you?
  23. Antonio Valencia hasn't seen that much of the ball on the right recently but he seems to have the beating of Birmingham full-back Gregory Vignal down that flank. Credit to the French defender, he sticks to his task and eventually stops the Ecuadorian winger even if it is at the third attempt. Man U v B'Ham
  24. Pardew has no luck in getting the ball either
  25. I dont know but it was a pretty good post I would have thought
