You may be right but I thought I read somewhere Lowe said the previous regime had sold off the family silver and now the cupboard was bare. Despite what posters are saying I would have thought Lallana and Surman are not worth millions if they were they would be helping us to win games

Of course it would be better in the CC than Div 1 but there is no point in thinking we are an elite team

All I am saying is that instead of getting behind JP there appears to be a feeling that he must go and that is the more important than winning. You could be a little less rude in calling me dense and try to understand that other people can have another view. JP may not be the right man to develop the youngsters but only time will tell. They obviously need a lot of support which I dont feel they are getting from some people

I want us to build for the future I do not mind if we are relegated because we can regroup . What I do mind is trying to keep in the Championship at all costs without having a solution for the long term. Sacking JP bringing in another manager is only assisting in the short term .

I think Crouch was waiting for the takeover so he felt there was no need to appoint a short term manager. His football advisor probably agreed.

Also well done Mick Dennis he does have a point The small minded hatred of Lowe is one of the reasons we are in the mess we are now.

What did he do right is a better question I would have thought he does not appear to have a strategy to get us out of our present situation He did not do much wrong compared with Wilde and his cronies but appears to lack judgement in supporting Wilde and believing in takeovers. In better times he would probably make a good Chairman but appears to want to please fans all the time which is probably not what is required by a Chairman. Lowe however appears does not to want to please the fans at all.

I think we have been pretty poor all season going right back to the Blackpool game but sometimes we play well but need to make many clearcut chances. I know we got to the play offs in season 2 but the other seasons in the Championship have been dire. Thats why I like the idea of trying to bring in high quality youngsters in order to eventually develop a team which we can be proud of not a bunch of overpaid untalented footballers With no money we are well and truly stuffed. Perhaps another manager will get more out of the team than JP time will tell

I dont think the bank are making the decisions. I like you dont know where the money is coming from but Smith was already here and Cork and Pearce have left. We got some money in from the Man U game We also have to pay Saga but that maybe covered by not paying John

Yes I know Forest are winning but they did win before Davies took over but Watford Charlton are not doing that well with new managers. Spurs are slightly better under Redknapp but they do have some really good players it just seems hit and miss to me Pearson took us over last year and very nearly took us down. If Wright had not made that save we would have been relegated probably.

Yes you are quite right I have alway thought we were in pseudo Administration but still getting in new players. I think Administration proper would be a disaster but relegation not so bad Nottm Forest and probably Leicester have shown it is possible to return so would Leeds if they had not lost points because of going into Administration
