  1. Just because they are experienced does not mean they are better
  2. Crystal Palace have transfer-listed Paul Ifill and Carl Fletcher in a bid to raise funds to buy a striker. (Daily Mail) Could be Stern John
  3. If you mean by a Lowe Luvvie somebody with commonsense I would agree. Mr Lowe seems to be more in touch with reality than some posters from Continental Europe .
  4. Yes as usual I am in agreement with you. There do however seem to be a significant number of people who either do not understand the situation or do not want to understand the situation posting comments which bear no relation to the situation and expect someone to spend £20 million plus on a whim to help us out..
  5. I think buying Davies was probably a bad decision in the First Place as we had no money. It is very easy to post comments like this without any constructive alternative.
  6. Can somebody explain why £1.3 million was a poor deal. We only paid £1 million and he played a dozen or so games. Matthew Mills went for £300000 Did we rip off Boro
  7. Let me see we bought Davies for £1 million he played a few games we sell him for £1.3 million and he earns £500000 per year and that is incompetance. I wont comment on Surman as he is still here
  8. No Burley with of course Mr Wilde's help
  9. Did anybody see that game I think it was against Derby We were down to nine men must have been before substitutes with Cliff in goal. It was a great game I think we won 5 4 or 5 3
  10. When was the last time we signed a really good player . Niemmi? Crouch ? Svensson?
  11. I dont think he saw it like that. Just a mercenary footballer not in the top 20 CBs I have seen play for the club but the best player brought in since we were relegated.
  12. I was only trying to point out that the choice of the players was Burley's as a number had already played for him in the past. Given that the board had agreed to spend £7 to 8 Million I do not believe that Burley's choices were very good (apparently according to a friend he did the same at Ipswich) and that is the one of the major reasons we are in the position we find ourselves where nobody wants to buy these same players. Of course who ever agreed to their high wages was also culpable too. But if you spend £7-8 million you will have to pay high wages. Which I think is something Lowe did / does not want to do. I feel the problem lay in the choice of player fundamentally but you are of course right other people are culpable. However in the first regime after Lowe I never really understood who was running the club as Wilde Crouch Hone Delieu Hoos were all involved to some extent. But Burley in my Opinion wasted £7-8 Million
  13. I would agree that eventually things will get better but it may not happen for some time yet. Although we lost both games 2 1 I feel we did a lot better than many would have expected. It is important now to win games where we expect to win rather than draw or even lose like we did last season.
  14. Thats what I thought I had said I was just pointing out it was really Burley who brought these players into the Club
  15. So it will be Lowe's fault if we get relegated
  16. It was Burley really who brought in all the players not Wilde. He just agreed too high wages
  17. He was the only really decent player Burley brought in apart from John who came in as part of the Jones transfer package. He may have saved us from relegation but obviously we could not have really afforded him in January
  18. Of course you are right this hatred of Lowe and now Wilde is a real disaster for the club. I dont fullyunderstand really why it has happened with such fervour but it has and of course needs to be addressed. It is ironic really because two years ago most people thought very highly of Wilde and there appeared to be a new optimism within the Fan base. However if someone else came in and things did not go well would the abuse start up again.
  19. My friend Rupes what a stupid and biggoted response if more people turned up to watch obviously we would get more revenue You obviously do not possess much sense if you do not understand the strategy
  20. Yes that s the whole point of an academy if people leave there other players to take their place I think you are now understanding the strategy No need to recruit second rate overpaid players who may not fit into our style of play. So we reduce costs and bring in Transfer Fees to pay for you and lots of others boycotting the team
  21. The hatred of the fans towards Lowe is one of the main reasons why we are in the situation we find ourselves. How we get over that I do not know but I would have thought that Lowe was better qualified and committed than most to lead us forward. By the way I am not getting at Le God but the fan base in general
  22. So if somebody else bought it you would not prop up their wealth either. Some people are wealthier than us so what
  23. I dont think anybody disagrees with you but nobody wants to do it. If I was extremely wealthy I would not want to put money in with little return and lots of aggro when things go wrong would you
  24. I dont see how Wilde can go as he owns over 30 percent of the shares which nobody appears to want. If we had sold Rasiak Saga Skacel and Rasiak for £4 million we would have been in a better position but that has not happened and that is out of the boards hands. So now we have to sell other players The board have reduced the wage bill significantly so our on going losses have been reduced. But my main concern is the negativity of the fans by boycotting games it makes the situation worse and I am certain Administration is not the answer.
  25. It would help the seller in that the debt would be reduced and the buyer would not not have to pay £1.3m to service the debt plus 0.5M wages. The buyer would say buy shares for £5m and then put in another £3.5m to pay off the Debt otherwise they would have to put in £5m to pay off the debt.
