Well I was at Goodison when we went down we actually won that day. Probably rather upset did not know who the Chairman was and never saw Terry Paine again
-
What is a Lowe luvvie ? Perhaps one could let me know
-
Yes you are right for some reason the expectations of a number of fans is too high and has always been so in the last few years. When we were in the Premiership fans were expecting unrealistically large iinvestment to take us into the top six. I shall be happy if we finish in the top 15 and move on next season. Fans will moan when the young players who have excelled move to larger clubs but hopefully the system will bring others into the first team squad.

I doubtit our team was rubbish when we went down and we fully deserved it
-
I dont think JP will drop James yet I dont think it would be good for team spirit. Although he is good I think Cork will have to wait. I know we need to win our games but developing a team is very important Cork is only on loan James is one of ours.

As a Realist I would say Relegation battle Unlikely Mid table Probable Play offs being Possible but unlikely Top two No chance
-
Yes that would be good i thought Morgan is much better suited to a central role and we have Thomson, Dyer, White, too Yes things are looking up
-
Yes I agree but I think Mills will eventually play there.
-
Yes but right wing (or right midfield) is still up for grabs. Perhaps Wotton/Gillet in Midfield and Morgan S on the right as tonight.
-
Last week there was some gloom and doom with Davies going to Stoke. But how easily it has changed with Cork coming together with a young Czech striker plus two wins against teams which were in the Premiership last years and no goals conceded.
-
I agree Doddsy said they were not ready !!!
-
Well the tension has now lifted What I like about the score is the nil bit Different defence from last weekend but a clean sheet so far is excellent
-
The PREMIER league allows 7 this season so apparently does the Carling Cup
-
I wish we would score another goal the tension is getting to me
-
Well I think you should be more sensible hating someone does no good
-
GB Burley had the team playing well at the end of the first season in the Championship I realise that we as you say flirted with relegation . I think I was trying to put across the point that Burley was not a bad manager as chosen by Lowe. It was only last season when Lowe/Wilde were not involved that he performed badly I think we are both in agreement
-
Yes it is not easy to run a club whose fans have unrealistic expectations but it does show courage in admitting mistakes and agreeing to work with Lowe again. I always thought he was a little niave in thinking how easy it would be to run SFC and get investment. I still do not think Lowe is as bad as people make out but is probably not right for SFC because of the bad feelings most of the fans have against him.
-
I agree he appointed GB and George did a good job when Lowe was chairman however it was under Wilde that too much money was spent on overated players
-
Probably correct but did you support him when Lowe resigned
-
I totally disagree with you. We had no money to invest when we were in the Premiership. To think we could have invested is ridiculous where was the money to come from
-
Michael Wilde is the biggest shareholder if he had not agreed the new set up would not be here and we would proably have been in Administration
-
Very True if you looked at the half time comments also lots said we were doomed. WE just need to be patient and win two games a month and then see what happens
-
Thank you good report. I suppose Stern John was not picked as he was in Trinidad during the week
-
Well that does not seem to fit the Davies Scenario very well as he was CB and that is who I was discussing not some hypothetical striker who appears highly unlikely to exist
