I think they would be pleased . It was not a laughable offer we paid £1m for him and he played 12 games Jack Cork may be better
-
No we have not signed him
-
I think it's really naive to think there was a way we could have persuaded him to stay here rather than leave for stoke city who are in the Premiership and would be able to pay more, I dont think his agent would be telling him to stay
-
This is again conjecture is it not we do not know what is happening at the bank I dont expect Barclays are ringing up everyday We are not selling off our players Davies wanted to go as far as I understand
-
Would you like to rephrase that post regarding tools?. Because I thought his players were a bunch of tools Burley had 8 Million but did not invest wisely it is because of this poor investment we find ourselves in the present situation. Burley also did not give our younger players much of a chance either.

Are you certain about your facts or are you making assumptions. 1 The untried French kid did not cost 1.5m Euros as payments are staged. 2 The board and football staff are not stupid Wilde and Lowe are highly intelligent and successful I dont think Lowe is looking for easy options he has told us the facts and is trying to get the club stable whingeing will not change the course of what is happening at St Mary's

There is no problem selling a player if there is a replacement available. We sold Wayne Bridge and Got Graham Le Saux we sold Dean Richards and got Michael Svennson years ago we sold Martin Chivers who was replaced by Micky Channon I think if we sold Andrew Surman next year Joseph Mills would be a good replacement So there is no real problem selling players
-
I have no complaints at the moment Got rid of Safri Licka Powell Wright Ostlund Viafara no problem replaced with Wooton, Mogan Sch, Perry, Holmes, James and Gillett Loaned Saga Rasiak No Problem looking for one replacement striker Sold Davies slight problem but replaced by Jack Cork who maybe better
-
I just like JP He seems to know what he is doing despite comments on another thread regarding communication.
-
Do you not realise owing to financial reasons we can buy in players. I am reasonably sure that we are not going to get in a left back unless Surman leaves. If we get in a left back where will Surman play? Not Central Midfield I would have thought or Left Wing

oh dear

Yes you are indeed correct but I feel the way SFC are trying to run the team with youngsters may be the way forward
-
Does this seem a familiar story http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2008/08/madjeski_right_to_hit_out_at_w.html#035131

Never mind Lowe it is morons like you who are ruining the club
-
only problem this team would bankrupt us
-
I doubt if he will be playing for us in the near future

Kelvin Davis to be sold with Rasiak, Saga and Skacel
John B replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Jan P is in charge and it appears to me that Bart is number 2. -
OK fair enough but I think you will find James and Surman will be the first choice full backs unless Andrew goes. JP is only looking for another forward and is building for the future
-
Amazing comment. Is it not possible they may become excellent fullbacks Jan P thinks so
-
I think you could have said Thomas demonstrated what he was against Stoke, a useless £1million ***** Another of George's wonder buys I did think our luck had changed when I read Pompey seal permanent Thomas deal on BBC Sport Onlt to learn it was someone else
-
I agree we have to stay in the league but we may as well replace all our youngsters with loanees . That I am afraid is ridiculous James and Surman must be given an extended run
-
We already have midfielders but I take your point. But we must keep playing our own players otherwise we will never progress because Cork will eventually return to Chelsea

I am certain the management team have it under control if Davis leaves See how quickly they got Cork in -
How on earth are James and Surman to improve if they dont play. This short termism has already cost us Blackstock and Cranie
-
I agree with Adrian there is a lot of negative posting here. Lots of posters continually try to read something negative into every situation. There is also a lot of abuse directed at the board by people who are ill informed and bigoted. However everybody has a point of view and should be given the opportunity to raise it.
