  2. Don't be so simplistic.
  3. Well said!

    Fonte

You are the only person who could have posted that.
  5. Don't think it was that bad. Just think AP was annoyed about some of the questioning and decided to hold back at the end of the interview.
  6. Just looked at the league table for the first time in bloody ages. If we can win our games in hand and beat Huddersfield (big if I know) then we are right back in it.
  7. Bed sheet ftw.
  8. Adomah is a winger
  9. Will people stop quoting Glasgow. There's no point in having him on ignore if I can read everything he says via other people's quotes!
  10. Good point.
  11. Never used the ignore function before but I think I might start now and see if I enjoy the forum more without the constant drivel and repetition of complete and utter ********.
  12. 6 minutes? Only been 2 subs...
  13. Dave: One word to sum it up - A truly professional performance.
  14. Of course every game bloody counts but our first 10 games we were a bunch of strangers and it took us 10 games to gel and start picking up results. We then went on a fantastic run and were a bit distracted in the league and now, as being shown at Norwich, we will start picking up results again, especially with a stronger squad. I don't understand the point you are trying to make? Why are you making such an emphasis on the first 10 games at this stage? We know those games mattered but you refused to take the counter argument that since then we have been good and we will no doubt improve even further with better players. I know you need to keep busy but this is bordering on silly.
  15. Getting a bit desperate now aren't you? Why is it hard for you to acknowledge that it took this team 10 games to gel? It's not those games that have brought up the argument at this stage of the season, it's the recent run of draws. I think it's fair to say the run of away draws could be put down to cup game distractions. Cortese has given Pardew a nudge just to say that he can't forget about the league and I'm sure we'll see results pick up again now we have only one cup game left this season. No doubt our form in the league from the Gillingham game up to the beginning of January and the cup games was fantastic. For you to resort to using those 10 games as a backup for your argument at this stage of the season is complete rubbish.
  16. Thomson got another strop on after being substituted in the Port Vale game because of another poor performance and has been sent back. He showed glimpses of real talent but when the team started to struggle he played like an arsehole. His attitude seems to be a problem.
  17. The way you go around the forum picking out other people's mistakes - you'd think there was a reward or something.
  18. Saints: Davis, Thomas, Perry, Jaidi, Harding, Antonio, Schneiderlin, Hammond, Lallana, Papa Waigo, Lambert. Subs: Bialkowski, James, Wotton, Holmes, Mills, Gillett, Barnard.
  19. Don't you get bored of repeating yourself?
  20. He can't read you, you know.
  21. Why do you think he is playing Mills and Seaborne over Harding and Jaidi? There is no way he is under pressure this season from the board, this season is all about building for next season. If we get a bonus cup win and FA Cup run then fantastic. After this season the squad will really start to gel and everyone will get to know each other inside out and these leads slipping will not happen. I for one will be watching with interest on how Pardew experiments and how the team plays for the rest of this season, rather than expecting win after win like others.
  22. Think the club he had agreed to join was Torquay.
  23. Except for the one in August when we signed Papa Waigo on deadline day. However, I agree we may see some activity.
  24. Torquay fan here. Thomson started ok, floated in and out of games. He grew into his position on the left wing and started to play fantastically well - a tricky winger, extremely fast, skills and an end product. Recently he has been switched to the right wing and has gone off the boil, looking unmotivated and not bothered and tbh, we are surprised his loan has been extended. Now it has been we are hoping our injuries clear up and he can be switched back on to the left where he showed brilliant form. At one stage we were worried about a recall he was playing so well but it only lasted four or five games. To the guy who said he's not fast - he'd give Antonio a run for his money from what I've seen.
