  1. No, sorry, but assume it means 2-300 at least.
  2. Sharp run out chance by Cook fielding short, just missed the stumps and batsmen had got back in by the time Prior whipped off the bails. 131-3 Kallis looking dangerous.
  3. Out! Prince gone caught at slip off Swann, who has finally been brought on. 90 something for 3 now.
  4. Lunch 70/2. Pretty even morning session. Having put them in, one would hope we could at least have them 9 down by close of play today. Kallis is the key man now.
  5. Plenty of tickets left, btw. I asked Mr Luker yesterday, he was very helpful as always. Also, my ticket isn't in the corner!
  6. Out! Amla edges to 2nd slip off Onions. 51/2.
  7. And now an lbw decision given out, but overturned on referral. I will leave out my diatribe about the utterly pathetic use of technology in sport!
  8. 44-1 now. SA digging in, not really many chances for England. One close lbw decision correctly given not out.
  9. Real cricket is back, and a great start for England, putting South Africa in and Broad gets Graeme Smith for a duck. Huge wicket. 4/1 now.

Thought you were busy drinking on Saturday...
  13. Here we are with a lack of affordable housing in this country, people could buy their own council homes and council's are severely restricted on what they can build. Who can we blame for this? Thatcher. The affordable housing crisis is one of the biggest in this country and it is all at her door.
  14. Thatcher ruined this country and we are still suffering now for what she did. Never forget.

Madness that is! Will be watching the game Saturday night. Can't wait. Shame the Saints haven't been on UK tele much this year, only twice so far I believe.
  16. I'm not saying that he's any good. I am saying he isn't a pundit. He is a commentator. There is a difference. I don't put the commentator there. Why not write to the BBC and ITV and Sky if you feel so strongly about it?
  17. Team of the Year: GB Mens Curling Team
  18. The Board of Cricket Control in India?
  19. It means that a society built on crippling debt is finding it hard to survive. Who wudda thunk it?!
  20. A commentator is there to describe what is happening on the pitch. The pundit is there to analyse what is happening on the pitch and explain why it is happening. If you are listening to a commentator to get your expert opinion on the game then you are clearly misguided.
  21. Motson, Alan Green, Tyldesley and Drury are commentators, not pundits.
  22. Cavendish was clearly a cut above the other 9 nominees. The only other sportsperson who comes close this year is Phil Taylor.
  23. Cheltenham 12.40 Still At Lunch
  24. My mate Rio is coming down from Bath for the game, I shall get him to boo also. He is quite a big lad, so should be able to boo reasonably well.
  25. Yes, I will make sure you get a good booing.
