  1. http://www.sportengland.org/about_us/recognised_sports.aspx Sport England list of recognised sports.
  2. If ever anyone was trying to make themselves look like an ignorant fool, then this is it? Huge attendances for Premier League Darts last year, but more importantly why is a sport judged by attendance? This has to be the most moronic point of them all (still, Arizona is a moron). Big crowds for pistol shooting down here last week...oh, wait. And I tell you what, I saw 50,000 at the British Judo Championships. Sorry, I was having a dream. What an idiot Arizona truly is.

    Rain

    Nice and sunny in Bath.
  4. Angola 2010 will be the best international tournament of the year, no doubt about it.
  5. Away forum?
  6. It will be a great day for Britain when a sports star who has excelled in a non-majority sport gets the recognition he or she deserves. In this instance, it should be a clear victory for Mark Cavendish, closely followed by Phil Taylor. With Button nowhere to be seen.
  7. The most moronic of moronic posts. Golf isn't currently in the olympics (it will be) - is golf not a sport? Rugby the same. Is rugby not currently a sport? Cricket isn't in the olympics - guess it isn't a sport. Baseball was in the olympics, but now isn't. Has it ceased to be a sport. Squash isn't in the olympics. I guess squash isn't a sport. Pistol shooting is in the olympics. So it must be a sport. But squash, rugby and cricket aren't. In case you hadn't noticed (which you haven't), the IOC select the sports they want in the games. Darts has been up for consideration on a couple of occasions. I would hazard a guess that more countries in the world play darts than play rugby union.
  8. 1.10 Catterick Polar Gale
  9. Cunning.
  10. Up to you. Think the options are 10%, 25%, 50% and 100%...however there might be some other options.
  11. I think what mdearlove is saying is that you *could* do 3 practice sessions of 90 minutes each, then qualify then race. That's true. But you don't have to do all (or indeed any) of the practice sessions, you can just jump into qualifying and go. For the 'gamer' that is fine. As a bit more of a purist I usually use 2 of the practice sessions. You can advance time so you can go out when the track is quiet (if they made it a 20 minute session you'd never get a quiet track) and then make changes to your set up. I quite enjoyed it all. It's not the most realistic sim of all time, but it's got enough about it to satisfy both ends of the spectrum, IMO.
  12. 'The Power' deserves this 20 times more than Jenson "They put me in the fastest car" Button. It should be almost impossible for an F1 driver to win this unless it's clear they are in a mid-grid car and somehow win the title. Taylor, on the other hand, practices for hours a day, totally dominates his sport (and isn't given the best darts....lol) and is hitting higher and higher 3-dart averages by the tournament. Regularly over 105 now.
  13. Although is he more of a helmet than Arizona? That is the key question.

    NFL

I stayed up until 4.30am to watching 'Monday Night Football' last night, and was whooping and hollering at the Saints awesome performance. Who Dat?! However, St George has ruined it all once again.
  15. Surely that depends on how long you set the race length for. The "purists" will enjoy the chance to use 3 practice sessions to tinker with their car, then qualify and then race. The "gamer" might just be happy jumping to a qualifying followed by 10 lap GP. You can't just get rid of the longer races, I wouldn't buy it if I was forced into 10 lap races.
  16. I would have thought so. 1 hour 15 on train to Waterloo, and then about 20 minutes back out, or you can change at Clapham Junction if you get a train from Soton that stops there.
  17. Proof, if there was ever need, that I am superior to you.
  18. World War One would almost certainly have happened anyway. The 19th century international system was teetering on the brink since Bismarck was forced out of power in Germany. It only needed something to kick-start it, and had it not been that shooting then something else would have done. Austria-Hungary was on the verge of collapse, and Germany had to support her sole ally. Only Britain could have prevented the war, but wasn't interested.
  19. I bet there's a frustrated journo on all those papers that didn't pick Taylor just questioning why. What the f*ck has Murray done this year to deserve to be in the running? I've nothing against him, he's a good tennis player and I hope he wins majors, but how has he done more this year than 'The Power'? Good to see Dario Franchitti get a mention from one paper.
  20. No Phil "The Power" Taylor. What an utter disgrace. A clean sweep of the major ranking titles this year, and more tournament wins this year than he has ever had before. And totally ignored. A complete disgrace. Cavendish should win, head and shoulders above anyone else.
  21. Good. We should tax heavy polluters. These are good starting points for discussion. Hopefully you would end up being taxed 110% of your income.
  22. Got mine from John Lewis who had a good deal on at the time. All the usual places will be doing deals, so have a look round and see what bundles are on offer.
  23. FFS. Who gives a f*ck? Milky tea is **** whenever people put the too much milk in. You've got to deal with the real issues. FFS.
  24. Diddums. Mocking someone for calling it a tricky place to go, when we had already won there once this season, when we hadn't played there at all this season. Go back to your hole.
  25. Why can't some people make a decent cup of tea? Why is my tea weak and milky. Milky tea is incredibly crap.
