I haven't eaten a Subway since Saints played friendlies away at Motherwell and Kilmarnock. Having got home from the football at 3am, at 6.30 this morning I wasn't particularly hungry, but then by the time I got to work at 8 I was. I found a Subway voucher offering me a breakfast sub for 99p. So I decided to use it (there's a recession on, you know?). The "sub" was absolutely crap. Very upsetting. Could barely tell there was sausage & egg in there. Is there anyone who regularly eats this guff (stevegrant!) and if so can they please explain why in no more than 80 words.

I believe it is Parliament that decides the "protected events" list, but can't remember if they all have to vote it through or whether it is the job of a committee.

Someone posted this on the main board, and I have checked it out. For those going back to Newcastle after the game, you can get the train to Sunderland at 2229, and then get the Metro back into the city centre. Much cheaper than a taxi.

Still waiting to find out if the game gets moved for dreaded live coverage, or to the Sunday because of Kettering v Leeds. Not a particularly good place to go, as ground miles out of town on some leisure park, so no real pubs nearby. Annoying. Also, "Northampton's Best Kebab House" (actual name) is sh*t.
