It was some sort of simple tribal design in black and quite small. I can see that you are being defensive about this, but I did not state that tats were for dummies, I stated that I thought they looked sh1te (so a statement of my opinion regarding the subject matter) and that I don't understand why someone would get some of the sh1te I have seen on peoples skin.

99.999999999999% of the tattoos I have seen on folk look utter sh1t, what possesses them to get such sh1te painted on their body is beyond me. Saw one the other day on someone's back in huge sh1tty Cyrillic font with "I'm your lady and your my man". WTF?!?

If you don't want the worn out ones, there are donation programs for getting running shoes to poor countries for the kids there to play sports in.

What a shame. What should be a fun thread where we congratulate a young lad who has worked hard and got some excellent results, it is full of bitter sods looking to cheapen it for the sake of their egos. Pathetic.

Congrats on the results saintandy! Did mine 19 year ago and managed a U (ungraded) in maths, luckily I got good grades for chem and biol and got into Aberdeen Uni.

I enjoyed that, very well written and interesting too. In an age where grammar and spelling seem like an afterthought (or not even a thought) it is great to see a youngster writing well. Make sure to keep evolving your style and improving. Thumbs up!

Bah, correction, it was 88/89 when we stated with 3 wins (and had that 22? games without a win...)

No it was later in that same season, and may have been as many as 22 games, Ruddock with a 90th min penalty vs Newcastle to finally get us back on the winning track...

87/88, we won the first 3 (West Ham, QPR, Luton I think) and were 2-0 up at Highbury in the 4th game, Paul Davis punched out Glenn Cockerill.....9 mins of stoppage time....the rest is history....

Went to the Montreal one twice. First one gen admission, managed to get a decent view underneath a stand. Second time got a seat and it was 100x better, watched the support races and qualifying etc, got some awesome pictures. You can easily keep up with what is going on if you are paying attention, you notice a driver is missing and then check the big screens and they usually show a replay of what happened elsewhere on the course.
