What has happened to West Ham then? I looked at the game last evening and couldn't figure out why they've got so awful all of a sudden. I mean they had quite a reasonable season last year, don't remember any major exits and yet they look utterly clueless. Is it because Payet has dropped right off ? Seem to remember him scoring a few goals last season.

Too late,he'd already completely turned the match in Utd's favour as per usual. All clubs suffering a loss after a wrong refereeing decision, later corrected on appeal, in the first, let's say 30 minutes, should be awarded a point because the match has been wrongly skewed against them. Won't happen of course.

Really? Do the players now decide how the club play football and who does what? What we need is to weed out the troublemakers and sell them to Shanghai or something for vast sums.

Strange that this sort of letter wasn't being sent to the Echo when we were winning games a couple of weeks back. So fickle. We just don't have the players to be anything but mediocre, that's true but most just won't seem to admit it as such.

Fuchs, Mahrez, Kanté, Schmeichel and Vardy would all probably find a place in a Top 6 side. When you have goalscorers going at the rate that Vardy and Mahrez did last season it make all the difference. We have VvD and Forster as top flight players now, the rest are pretty so so. There's no axe or base as there was before. When you buy a young guy from Bayern for 12 million there's a reason for that, especially when they replace him wirth a 30 million £ portuguese kid.
