Wotton and Gillett ?? will we ever learn. Gillett is garbage, he will fluff tackles and clearances and we'll get shafted. Then he'll go off and we'll play decent football (and score goals,hopefully enough to catch up from the time before he went off).

We'd have got more than the paltry 500K (club record) Swansea are thinking of offering us. We got 650K for Best.

Rudi is an OK player but not great on a like for like value for money basis. Not compared to an average CCC midfielder (or left back) performing consistently in a rival side for half of the money. Having said that he did earn us a bit of money by appearing in Euro 2008 so you'd have to set that off against his salary this season.

Exeter don't count, that's a team of bricklayers and lumberjacks, bound to get penalties against that. So if you take out Watford and Doncaster we've only got 1 penalty in 28 games not a great total. I'm sure we got more last season.

speaking of penalties: how many have we had this season compared to say, last season. I wonder if our lads need more diving practice,it seems to me that we're not getting our share of penalties lately.
