It's not even Porto really, a lot of these players are 3rd party owned in a set up that acts as part owner/agent and media rights dealer. Can't remember the name, perhaps it's Doyen or something like that. Porto set a sort of minimum value and the part owner asks for a lot more.

There are a lot of lists though, thought I saw one the other day where Norway was still way out in front and the UK wasn't even in the top 20. Depends on the criteria used I suppose.

They do have a few long term injuries that cost a packet though, even then I'd doubt if they're the most expensive actually, I'd have thought that Chelsea and Citeh at least are by far more costly. Maybe even Arsenal. Not checked any of that though.

They're not even that bad, the problem is the "fans" have taken ombrage at LvGs style of football which puts winning above all else and not losing close behind that so they are a discontented rabble. Most of them seem to have forgotten just how many games they won in their "glory years" with iffy penalties and other disputable goals in "Fergie" time long after the game should have ended.

I really don't know what else she expected really. Had she spent a month or so in any of Paris's slum cités she'd have known what to expect. Most of the immigrant kids in those quarters don't respect women in any way at all, from about 3 years old and upwards.

No he hasn't, there's Gardos isn't there, think he's nearly back in the frame. The young man with the rocket scientist accent commenting on last night's U21 game seemed to think that both Gallagher and Stephens would be going back out on loan. Probably emergency loans this time because the FA don't count them in the 2 club only rule.
