sunstroke...pretty warm at Palavas today.
-
Just shows that the Sirs apart they've had some crap managers at Utd then doesn't it..
-
Done deal then ?

Just our usual summer Groundhog Day, as will be the buckets of vitriol poured on whoever leaves on each occasion. We have to face it, it's going to keep on happening until the ownership changes. Top players and coaches have ambition and provided that clubs are still prepared to offer them more money to have a stab at fulfilling said ambition we'll be on the losing end.
-
Well I was thinking more of Cleverley, Fuentes Mori and both goalkeepers myself but there you go.
-
Top 6 when you didn't have a side to make even top half? You have some excellent players and some pretty poor ones. A team in never better than it's weakest element.
-
He is but that's not particularly reproachable to most. Just trying to be fair to the bloke, even if I'm really not fussed either way.

I think a few players and possibly managers have found that dumping an agent for another when you're about to negociate a big new deal isn't as simple as it seems. Think it was Valbuena who changed agent, moved the week after and still owed his old agent a big slice of the new contract. Agents have contracts with those they manage and can't just say Heyho I'm off, see you around.

Depends, how much did Leicester spend to win the League last year or Liverpool spend to be 8th? Football isn't about money alone these last 2 years or so, most club have adequate turnover to rivalise with all of the others. It's how you spend it , who manages what you have and what good fortune comes your way during the season. Now to me any top 8-10 club from ast season could finish top 4 next. The TV deal which now balances out much of the historic inequality due to stadium size and commercial revenues makes it all very undecided. Why even Saints could have made Top 4 if it weren't for that wobble in December, if Forster had made it back a few weeks earlier we could easilty be in the CL next season because Citeh and United despite vast sums spent were badly managed in one way or another.
-
Well he's obviously not going to just take the money for a new stadium out of his piggy bank now is he.
-
I'd doubt that actually, Koeman has done nothing reproachable up to this point as far as I can see. A few internet fans having worked themselves into a frenzy over speculation and rumour is all that it's about at present.

Well Moshiri looks to be anything but a "bit mental" as you so quaintly put it. Sold his Arsenal stake to invest in Everton where he'll have more of a say in matters or so it would seem. Chartered accountant, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, PKF yep must be a screw loose somewhere in there then.
-
But his investor probably isn't. Some even say Kroenke is behind all of this.

Last few weeks? Words have meant nowt since the night of time.

Good fightback in last night's game then. Looked to be in a bit of the old sticky stuff but the bowlers got us through. -
Never a dull summer.

Was always pretty likely that Diarra wouldn't actually make the Euro, been on one leg for months, if not years. Now if DD had done as originally planned (or so it would seem) the 31 would have still been together when he dropped out. Spain got it right, decide the 23 at the last minute.

Excessive field changes perhaps. Although I've noticed that Middlesex scored only about 200 of their runs in boundaries, the rest barring extras were all run, perhaps that slows the over rate down as well. Ah yes 2 left handers and a right hander each scoring a century or more, so that at virtually all times they had a lefty and a righty at the crease. Don't see that we should be penalised for that myself, there are bound to be a lot of field changes in those partnerships. -

Look to be heading towards one of our most ignominious ever defeats then having obtained just 1 bowling point from the whole match. The win against Notts was very encouraging and a reasonable performance in this game should have put us sort of mid-table . As it is we'll be bottom 2 again. -

Bad day at the office yesterday then. Not totally unexpected when the opponents have 30 on the board after 14 balls. -

Going to be looking at nigh on 200. Tough ask but perhaps it's a ground with short boundaries. -

then again perhaps not, Tino took 2 in an over and they're on the ropes now; Must be a good game to watch. even better Crane took 2 in 2 balls, their last man didn't bat...Won it. Does that leave Crane on a technical HT next time he bowls ? -

We're going to throw it away aren't we! This is what is so irritating about the current version of Hampshire CCC, get into great positions and then just bung them out of the window.
