Well no 30000x£10x19=5.7 million £ if I'm not mistaken, enough to pay 1 quality play over 100K a week so it's not really "minimal" especially as it would allow you to increase your salarial mass even under FFP. Trouble is of your 10 extra £1.90 goes to the government, they'd be pleased no doubt.

Quality prospect he may well be but for him the clock is ticking because he turns 20 in a couple of months and he's not a first team squad regular. At Utd they have about 6 U21s who actually play in the first team on occasions so I really don't think that's a likely destination for Hesketh. He's not really an academy type signing any more, needs to be looking for first team football at his age..
