Tbf Bertrand was probably always a better player than Shaw, the instability of his situation probably did him no favours with the National set-up, a few games here, a few games there. Shaw is no great shakes and we did fantastically well to persuade Utd that he is. Then again our football last season was very persuasive, more so than this season I think, just because of it's fluency and spectacular value.

Ah I don't know there, top 4 UK clubs all have non UK managers and some of those may not really appreciate the qualities of Clyne, as I said many times concerning Shaw last summer, there's probably better available for less if you know where to look for it.
