Not necessarily, perhaps the contract being offered isn't very good and he thinks we can do better. Doesn't mean he doesn't want to be here at all, just that we might be taking the p*ss on terms. -
And is now refusing to return there because they have no plan, no direction, no project. Since Dreyfuss died they have become a one ringed circus and it affects players. Couple this with continual investigations into tax fraud, occult payments on player transfers and agents fees and you doubt anything that comes from there.

As I said it's a personal opinion, Marseille is an awful place and I'd not recommend any OM player to anyone, we'll see how West Ham get on with Payet.
-
There is a strange sort of mentality in the place, the OM is a complete shambles and it seems to rub off onto their players. You never know what state of mind you're buying into with an ex OM player. Look at Gignac...signed for some Mexican outfit ffs, what respectable european footballer in their right mind would do that for a few quid more. Valbuena took the roubles from Dynamo Moscow because they were the highest bidder and now regrets it because they've been chucked out of Europe for continual FFP abuses, to get a 4 year ban it must be serious. There is something rotten in the kingdom of marseille.

Trouble is Imbula is actually French....comes from the Congo via Belgium or something. Personally I'd not sign anything that's ever been anywhere near Marseille.

DONE DEAL: Saints sign Maarten Stekelenburg on season-long loan

une balle, un ballon, thus the syntax is not correct. La petite balle de tennis if you please. -
In fact the odds on a move to Saints are drifting a bit of late. Shortening for Palace today. Still odds on to us, don't really know why though, but not so odds on as yesterday.

Tonny Vilhena hands in transfer request at Feyenoord

There are just so man stories like this about, players said to definitely signing elsewhere and finally staying put for a new contract and no doubt more money. Agents are just using "sure things and done deals" to get their clients better terms. -
Never mind that, what has coal combustion got to do with football ?
-
Whilst Sky themselves are never shy to propagate or even amplify the wildest rumours.
-
And it's Carberry and Adams that are gone..... Relatively poor season for both of them so far. Now 39/4...just an utter shambles.
-
I do not bet either because it's a mugs game but I understand how it works having had an uncle who worked for a Romford bookie....and that's something benter than a 9 bob note.
-
Surely there has got to be a conflict of interest there, I mean it's so easy for them to mislead fools and then liberate them of their hard earned (or benefits..whichever the case may be).
-
Absolutely, most of these odds mean nothing whatsoever because of the constant stream of wild speculation concerning transfers just now. Rumour gossip on tweeter, player is suddenly 5/1 on or something like that. Can't believe that pepople are actually prepared to lose money over all of this crap.
-
Finished them off for 346, better, 4 wickets for Berg.

Targett & Ward-Prowse named in England U21 Euro squad
Window Cleaner replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
Did he actually have any of those ? Needs to work out what his best position is and get some serious game time there. I still think he needs to be loaned out to "man up" a bit. -
In fact he went to Hull for the money, he was all set to go to Seville but when Hull came in for him he dropped them without a word and signed at Hull. Seville were mightily parsed off.
-
Us not signing him would be a good bet then, because we won't. PSG have midfielders wanting to defect in droves, Cabaye will probably stay there.
-
We are no doubt, he's no longer on loan at Hull, loans finish with the season.
-
I don't doubt that we could have terminated his contract and thus wiped out any chance of ever recovering a penny of the sum we paid for him. When you've paid 12+ million or whatever it was for a player you tend to think twice about kicking his arse out of the door for free!!
-
If you say so, I'd not seen that before, just that there was a 1.5 million clause to buy out our permanent deal option.

Although I doubt very much that we intend to start the season with Yoshida as a first choice centre back. For the time being it seems that only the small change and "free" transfer deals are getting done. Clubs are holding out for a maximum amount on really first rate players and the potential buyers are, as of yet, having none of it. Players will start coming back to their club in about 10 days or so I suppose and then we'll probably see the volume of business accelerating. Pity we had all those pointless internationals 10-20 days after the end of seasons, holding everything up. -
Except that for the time being there are no deals.
