  1. Well I'd think that would depend on the quality of the sex parties that he organises from now until June. However as the Argentine season runs from about February up until December it may well be that his loan is not really related to the standard UK PL season.
  2. So is it not county teams any more ? Or is Birmingham one of those new fangled city-counties nowadays like Greater London and Greater Manchester.
  3. Well your world statesman Hollande would be as well to do the same, never has a president made such a fark up of a nation. In fact all those thinking of voting socialist should have a look and see what a mess he's made. Scruffy womanising idiot is all he is.
  4. In fact all day pub opening was one of the headline policies of the OMRLP, I remember voting for their candidate somewhere, probably at Beechwood School for the Itchen East Constituency, probably the only time I've ever voted for anyone anywhere actually.
  5. Ah The Official Monster Raving Loony Party, now sadly missed I'm afraid
  6. Right, player sales in May+ June 2014 have obviously been offset by player purchases in July and August 2013 then, so we used part of the money from the Shaw and Lambert sales to pay for Osvaldo and Victor then, in 32 million, out 23 million which gives you roughly the difference between profit before and after player trading.
  7. The use of marquée as an adjective refers I think to the sort of sign panel above theatres and the like publicising coming events in the hope of drawing a big crowd. You know Road to Nowhere starring Agnes Brown and Bert Smith. This lighted emplacement is known as a marquée, comes from the French "marquise" which is a sort of awning. The French word for a big tent is Chapiteau in fact.
  8. As I worked out the other day the accounts would have included the sales of Lambert and Shaw but the 3 afterwards and most if not all of the signings would be shown in next year's accounts. So 33 million £ profit including 32 million £ of player sales. We've obviously paid off some stuff because otherwise it means that last year we made sort of zilch on trading without player sales.
  9. So, they'll probably be a Cup finalist, big draw apparently.
  10. signing for Crystal Palace then is he because Chelsea don't do kids on massive salaries, Spurs don't do massive salaries at all and he's not an Arsenal type player.
  11. Went out with a 203 not out then and a league winning performance for the Lions, way to go Neilza.
  12. £50 ? WTF when I was a boy scout doing bob a job, the miserable bastards sometimes only gave you ninepence for hacking down a couple of acres of forest with a pocket knife and weeding 3000 sq metres. You then got hassle from Akela for not making enough.
  13. Unless it's changed since the last time I was down that way a footballer, especially one who scores goals, is a god in Argentina, he lives on Mount Olympus and if he shàgs a few nymphs between creating thunderstorms and mountain ranges then good for him. Must rate amongst the globe's most macho countries.
  14. a) wouldn't doubt it, B) seems strange, borderline illegal, never heard of it before.
  15. Played well last night, must be about 45:55 with Cabaye for the regular starters spot now.
  16. Pinch of salt, more like the annual production of the Staffordshire sale mines. The above is just making crap up and wasting ink on it to titilate an ever seeking public. Lunchtime O'Booze is the journalist in question no doubt. Anyway looks as if Morgan might be starting again this evening, off down there now.
  17. Probably, Koeman likes him.
  18. I've seen Lyon's accounts yes, it's a listed company. ACTIVITÉ SUR CONTRATS JOUEURSCessions/résiliations de contrats joueurs (valeurs IFRS)• Kim Kallström (27/07/12) au club du Spartak Moscou(2,85 M€ + incentives)• Aly Cissokho (23/08/12) au club du FC Valence(5 M€ + incentives)• Jérémy Pied (24/08/12) à l’OGC Nice (3 M€)• Hugo Lloris (31/08/12) à Tottenham Hotspur(9,7 M€ + incentives)• Enzo Réale (04/09/12) au FC Lorient(1 M€ + intéressement sur plus-value future)• Cris : contrat résilié au 31/08/12• Dejan Lovren (14/06/13) au club de Southampton FC(6,9 M€ + 2 M€ maximum d’incentives)• Anthony Martial (29/06/13) à l’AS Monaco(5 M€ + intéressement sur transfert futur Here it is in B+W 6.9 million euros plus a maximum of 2 million euros add-ons with no reference to any payment on a future transfer (as is the case for Martial who'd have come out of their academy). So whatever the press might say when the accounts are public and detailed anyone can see the truth.
  19. Only because Pellè isn't very good and JRod hasn't returned as no doubt planned.
  20. Bournemouth got about 4 million, their chairman made a big public fact of having to take a cut in the amount due to get the deal done, Lovren...Lyon got squat, they sold him to us with no kickbacks, don't think that they even exist in French football, add ons yes, cuts of future transfers no.. I
  21. Why ? Are you trying to suggest that immigration controls do not exist at this time?
  22. He's a player who did well for us but was at the end of his career, getting 4.5 million for him was good work.
  23. So we got 32 million for Lambert and Shaw and a total of 50 million for Lovren,Lallana and Chambers then, which tends to suggest that we got far less as a basic fee than popularly perceived for at least one of those 3.
  24. To know that you'd have to analyse the transfers before and after the 30th June which is when the financial year ends for Saints. Work out how much of the profit was due to player sales before player purchases and all that stuff. Don't think we sold many before 30th June though. We sold Shaw to Utd on 27/6 and Lambert to Liverpool end of May beginning of June . Just those 2 transfer fees would account for the 33 million £ profit at 30/6 I think. Without those incoming fees (if they figure in the 2013/14 accounts) then we made no profit at all.
  25. Then again there's squad strikers and just plain idiotic signings.
