  1. We can make the CL this season, of course we can, trouble is we can't take any more injuries at CB for the next few weeks, we'll also need opportunist goals like yesterday's when the going is a bit tough. Still think we'll make 4th though.
  2. Watched the game on C+ and I'd have to say that both sets of supporters seemed to make a fair old bit of noise, had to turn the sound down a bit actually.
  3. Victor not worth a mention then
  4. So what we see here is that wins are much harder to come by this season, result of more and more money coming into the PL from Sky and a better distribution of said money.
  5. Sticky state of affairs then, it probably won't happen of course but if José or Gardos picked up an injury at any time in the near future we'd be up the creek, presuming that Toby's injury is as bad as it looked of course. Canal+ "experts" said at least a month...just looking at it mind.
  6. Still Arsenal to win the CL isn't very likely now is it. Back to Wednesday's game, think we might need to protect at least one of our CBs if not both, they're all we've got now so another injury would be sort of fatal. Haven't we got anyone in the youth sides who can play at CB against Ipswich ?
  7. Obviously wants to know what's in the cool box then.
  8. What can you do, they got a lucky win at St Marys. Rub of the green.
  9. Indeed Hope 1 Form 0
  10. You can always be hopeful but basically it's a no contest, Spurs will win at a canter and go above us, temporarily no doubt. Spurs don't lose league games now in case you hadn't noticed. Palarse only have 2 good players and they're both on continental cup duty.
  11. And so it goes on, DD gradually moving his chessmen out of average clubs and into CL campaigners, this window it's Sissoko and Lloris to PSG and Loic Perrin to Arsenal, he won't be content until he has only CL players in his squad.
  12. Apparently so, they must think he's swinging the lead then. The AcoN is a pain in the butt, one of the bugbears with African players.
  13. Well no, they'll have named their squad without him and in theory won't change it unless they get an injury to a striker before the first match. Looks like a bit of a put up job really, he obviously had an injury and it was pretty convenient.
  14. Sounds about right, with Mother Taubira in charge they might even have to answer no just the once. Ma Taubira is soft on crime.
  15. Do we even know what's wrong with him ? Just don't think he figures much in Ronald's plans that's all.
  16. Surely Toby, everyone else is on less and as he gets a free pass on Cup games it might well be causing friction, he probably earns twice as much as anyone else on our payroll.
  17. Less than Toby that's for sure. Anyway let's get this straight, I put up a piece from het nieuwsblad the other day, the transfer price is 8.5 million euros but Atletico can welsh on that by paying us 2 million euros. Toby's dad said that they were waiting and seeing what Atletico wanted to do before taking any more steps over a permanent transfer to Saints. So as Steve and the Belgian Journo say, nothing doing right now and everything else is Mail making up crap.
  18. What even if he says he isn't you mean.

Good, you really do not want your players tossing about down in sub saharian africa mid season. Especially those that were at the WC last summer.
  20. Tackle on Welbeck last year for me, 40 yds sprint, on a yellow already so off if he get's it wrong, perfect sliding tackle.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SDTkq8RhPI
  21. But one is tangible and real, the other ...well many sides have tripped at the final hurdle in that plater's handicap stakes.
  22. Wouldn't that just make skates a subset of bellends ?
  23. Didn't seem to lack creativity from what I heard, seemed to lack efficacity perhaps.
  24. They're all having a fag in his garage.
