Don't confuse the poor dears, who'd watch a talking non cartoon horse on TV nowadays, nowhere near original enough...now a sponge..there you're talking sense, my kids watched a magic fish..
-
2 florins then and a free go at the local whorehouse..ah no that was Avram.
-
We've had worse...
-
They haven't, it's just St Armstrong being all pseudo club mouthpiece again, in his saintsweb preview. Couldn't even get the number of players right, although I see that he's corrected that since.. Probably he who left out Davis as well...maybe even Morgan but KBilly's usually about right.
-
Why is of course why we got beaten by Burnley and took about 70 minutes to break Leicester down, not exactly the same thing as beating Wycombe with about 5 future world cup players is it.
-
Don't think Davis was missing at all, seemed to appear in yesterday's gallery.
-
Agent bolloaks hard at it again, desperate to link up with ...PL etc, desperate to get a slice of the juicy PL salary pie more like it.
-
But then it was the same for every team, now it's different, some have midweek games, others don't, plus there are no bad teams in the PL.
-
That's a predicted XII actually
-
4th..just can't see why not.
-
If it was that easy to beat Ipswich then surely we'd have done so at St Mary's. Going to be another tough game but I really think that we have to prioritise the Newcastle game, thus substandard XI for me. Big opportunity at Newcastle, they're dimished b having players at the CAN and having no manager. Arsenal are at City so in the case of a win at Newcastle we could in theory be 8 points above them. Spurs and Utd will probably win but a 6 point lead over Arsenal would be enormous with 16 left to play.
-
don't think that's right anyway, not even Monaco would be that stupid. He was on 1.2 million € a month net at Monaco, there's hardly any tax and social charges there so that makes it about a million £ a month gross in total. If he's on the same at Utd then he's on more like 240K a week.
-
Can't see why he calls it a shock win, 4th beats 3rd, must happen everywhere from time to time. They were rubbish at St Mary's and still won, did he write that as well? Really the press have to accept that our side is just as good as theirs, thing is they paid more for theirs than we did. When clubs like Utd learn that South Americans aren't always suited to the PL even if they do cost 75 million or whatever it is then "shock wins" will no longer be overused.
-
Why if we're 9 points in advance after just over half the matches should we only be 9 points ahead at the end of the season? Logic says that we'll be 38/21x 9 points ahead doesn't it ? ie 16 points more and a total of 73. Don't think we finished last season particularly well after JRod's injury either.
-
We can make the CL this season, of course we can, trouble is we can't take any more injuries at CB for the next few weeks, we'll also need opportunist goals like yesterday's when the going is a bit tough. Still think we'll make 4th though.
-
Watched the game on C+ and I'd have to say that both sets of supporters seemed to make a fair old bit of noise, had to turn the sound down a bit actually.
-
Victor not worth a mention then
-
So what we see here is that wins are much harder to come by this season, result of more and more money coming into the PL from Sky and a better distribution of said money.
-
Sticky state of affairs then, it probably won't happen of course but if José or Gardos picked up an injury at any time in the near future we'd be up the creek, presuming that Toby's injury is as bad as it looked of course. Canal+ "experts" said at least a month...just looking at it mind.
-
Still Arsenal to win the CL isn't very likely now is it. Back to Wednesday's game, think we might need to protect at least one of our CBs if not both, they're all we've got now so another injury would be sort of fatal. Haven't we got anyone in the youth sides who can play at CB against Ipswich ?
-
Obviously wants to know what's in the cool box then.
-
What can you do, they got a lucky win at St Marys. Rub of the green.
-
Indeed Hope 1 Form 0
-
You can always be hopeful but basically it's a no contest, Spurs will win at a canter and go above us, temporarily no doubt. Spurs don't lose league games now in case you hadn't noticed. Palarse only have 2 good players and they're both on continental cup duty.
-
And so it goes on, DD gradually moving his chessmen out of average clubs and into CL campaigners, this window it's Sissoko and Lloris to PSG and Loic Perrin to Arsenal, he won't be content until he has only CL players in his squad.
