It is quite clear that no matter what he wants the players have been sold.

IIRC we were desperate to get him signed so may well have accepted odd clauses for a young player. Still I suppose that having spoken to spurs about transfers of those 2 could just include nothing doing, given that someone was in fact telling us that MP agreed to a non-poaching for a year clause. Still think that the transfer fee that we got for him was a fantastic job by someone or other. He will prove to the watching world in the near future that he isn't worth it. Our boards best action to date, unless of course the fee was written into his contract as was suggested earlier on, in that case good job whoever did that.

at the end of the day if he was promised the move as long as someone came up with an acceptable sum of readies which may even have been defined in advance and then the rug was pulled out from under it because of the mass exodus then the player has every right to be miffed. If he can prove that it was a given that he could go then it may even come down to the law courts, proof would probably be hard to find though.
