Now to me Borini is a known quality, someone who's proved that he can play in the PL, Pelle ? who knows, Steve de Ridder scored goals in Holland. Then again Borini is 23, Pelle is far older I think. I wouldn't mind taking Borini in part exchange at all, not that it's likely to happen, we could also buy Pelle because just now we have about let's see...zero strikers until JRod is ready again. Osvaldo certainly won't be back.

Just crap anyway, hardly any football transfers are paid in full at the time of transfer, that's why we owe 27 million £ for previous transfers. Still asking for cash in advance is a good way to ensure no player ever leaves the club during the period of his contract. It is also an excellent way to ensure that no-one ever wants to sell you players on favourable terms.

Don't understand all this pride in our players in England squads stuff really. They're not the first, they won't be the last, they're just good players selected for their country. Supporters have nothing to do with that really. Played no part in their development, you just pay to watch them.

I read yesterday that Inter want to take Osvaldo on loan for next season with an option to buy which we seem to be fixing at about 11 million €.
