he made it up I expect.

JRod is the normal penalty taker after Rickie, then Steve Davis I think, but if we get one when we're 2 or more up with 5 minutes left we need to hand it to Luke or Jack Cork.
-
And why not, he looked really handy in the SP highlights, could have had 3 or 4 goals, it was Yeovil though. He looks quick, he moves about well and he looks to have good control of the ball. Just what you need to unsettle the Arse. Don't doubt we'll have staid old Lambert instead though because perhaps Woy will be there.
-
Anyway he was either just 19 or still 18. It was in winter and he scored after not long on the pitch. Went on to score a lot of goals in his first full season after that. Steve wasn't a schoolboy saint though, he came from elsewhere .
-
Well I think there are journalists but they can't publish what he says until tomorrow.

don't know what the world's coming to, used to be able to get all that stuff (and more) FOC from women of very similar appearance any time, any where. I blame University Fees and the lack of student grants myself. Gals didn't used to need money so desperately and if they did, well they got a barmaids job so that they could earn money and then let blokes tup them for free.

Wasn't the Chinese Central Bank pumping up liquidity to banks recently because of their new year holidays or something. Said banks expected major cash demands at this term of year.

Victor played at CB for Celtic on quite a few occasions, I suppose if you wanted to know enough you could go back and see how he did there, got the impression that he even turned out in a couple of CL games at CB.
-
Still reckon we'll play Victor at CB when he's fully fit and until Dejan is back, probably José and Maya tomorrow though. Then we have a choice, go with Jose and Maya again at Fulham but play 3 CMs in front of them with Victor in a very deep role or just test Victor at CB anyway. Usually played on the right though so the first option may be the best. Look at last January's TW, we bought Forren for about 3.5 million and he never even got to play for us..mainly because he's crap. Scandinavian CBs are vastly overated, long strips of urite who may be good in the air but they're crap on the deck, where PL football is played in the main. That's why they're a dying breed in PL football.

Ah this one looks a bit more like it Oskar Pogorzelec Polish U21 keeper, Can't see that we'd be short of youth keepers either though. Still at least an international.
-
Everton have loads of players on loan..well at least 3, think it depends where they come from actually.
-
There's a young player from Katowice of that name, Oskar Wenike, 17 year old AM, flight from Katowice arrived at just about the right time. No idea just how good he is, not very well known, not an age category international.
-
Now on the OS, they say a handful available. There's even a link to how you can buy them.

Usual suspects then, with the exception of West Ham of course.

FA Cup 5th round draw thread (Sunderland Away)

Look on the bright side, if you've got a week off you can do a Hull+Sunderland away double header with a few days in some northern wasteland in between, Cleethorpes or Harrogate or something. -

Watched about 25 minutes of the first half...absolutely atrocious. In fact it would probably be better if the FA put the Cup into midweek and left the League programmes on week-ends. That's the way all the other main football nations do it. You'd probably get better cup games without most sides looking to do the minimum to win and not get injured for their league game 2 days later. -
for what should I congratulate him exactly, being a good player ? What is this achievement?
-
useless playing with a target man against the Arse, you need to play them on the deck, Koscielny and Mertesacker will just hoover up anything above a metre off the ground. Chelsea, City and Utd are the only sides to get decent results against Arsenal of late and they don't hoof to a target man.,
-
And Jay's pass completion rate is by far superior to RL's.

Nottingham is fairly reputable for some fields, Trent ? haven't got a clue, EoA's girl goes there I think but she's an artist. -

Rather we kept it simple myself, worst possible team at home. We play Hull away on the Tuesday beforehand and I wouldn't want any of our young heads fuzzed by thoughts of cup glory against Chelsea or Liverpool the week-end afterwards. Hull away is a tough game, we'll need 100% to get anything much, especially with no Lovren. -
Lampard takes a lot of penalties, couldn't say how many penalties he's scored over the years though. Must be 50 odd in his Chelsea career though so about a quarter of his goals come from penalties. Perhaps we should let Jack take a few, get him started like, as we did with Guly yesterday. Pity there were so many needing a boost on the goal front, Jack or Luke would probably have been grateful for opening their goal accounts in official matches for the club.

As I said, too often found wanting when faced with good players. Not a fan myself, he's OK though but I'm looking forward to Victor's return. As for someone telling me that Phil Jones isn't a DM...they need to check their facts, he's very good at it actually.
-
Not to mention Carrick, Phil Jones can also play DM but as he's often press ganged into a defensive role because of England's lack of CBs he's overlooked in the DM sector. Don't think Cork woulds stand an earthly of an England place really, too often found wanting against good players.

Same as always, worst side left in the draw at home. So that would be what Charlton or Sheffield Wednesday then ? If we have to draw a PL side please let it be Fulham, and at home, mind you Swansea are in complete disarray, put them down as 4th choice then.
