If Lescott wanted to be "cover" he wouldn't be looking for a move from City would he. I suppose we could pair him with Dejan and make Fonte the "cover" though. City are still in 4 competitions so I'd think they'd still need all of their players for a while.

Why? Burley got a plumb job as Scotland manager, they even gave us money for letting them take him off our hands. Pretty handy really because he was a sh!te manager who should have lasted about 2 games.

They didn't want to win so lack of effort is totally comprehensible. They have all the games they need coming up and a lot of injuries and suspensions...just let it go at that. Villa's boss also said it was a game they could do without and surprise surprise they got knocked out as well. It's up to each club to decide their priorities and pursue them as they see fit. It's just not our problem.

Did he still have his walking boot though, that's the question. Until he can walk and run without it he's still a long way off. Good to see him in some core training though.
