  1. Well in theory you could do that but then that would probably mean not reading the reply in question either because you wouldn't know to what it refers. Tis a silly function really. The only real ignore function on this forum is not to log in at all.
  2. but certainly not at DM which is why JWP starts there when 2 of the other 3 are out. Even so in the Villa game JWP started at DM with Victor because Mauricio says Cork and Victor can't play in the same side, now whether that's a personal thing or some sort of technical incapacity I've never found out, they don't play together that's all and JWP isn't up to the job either..
  3. even so if you're quoted she can but see it. Ignore is a pointless function because quoting makes a post visible to all but those who have the quoter on ignore. It's just a gadget to make you think you have some control over what you see.
  4. well worse of course, the last one wasn't great but this one is just his court jester. You only have to look at his recent assertions on unemployment to know that. They cook the books so it goes down one month, get caught so it goes up again and then they're doing alright because it's going up more slowly than it was in about 1925. If you count part timers who want to be full timers unemployment is now running at about 14 or 15 % of the active popultation even if you don't count those if 'aided employment' on the out of work to all intents and purposes side. Everything they do just f*cks up because basically they haven't got a clue what they're doing. They need money but we're already taxed to a point where we can hardly pay, a minimum wage job costs an employer about 15 euros an hour but the worker only gets about half of that, the rest just goes to fund the largesses of the state and benefits scroungers. It's fokking mess which is why the FN (extreme right) is running at 30% plus in the opinion polls.
  5. I knew there was a reason I hate scouse, everything that comes from it and everything within about a 50 mile radius of it, just remembered what it is. :uhoh: I mean look at Liverpool's anthem, everybody thinks it comes from there, that Gerry and the Pacemakers created it, it doesn't, it comes from a 1945 Rogers and Hammerstein comedy musical. (Carousel for those who doubt me) Be interesting to see how he gets on on the Stoke forum, doubt that there's much love lost there, them being fairly adjacent (as Richie Benaud would say).
  6. or a 19 year old midfielder on the bench who is absolutely no use to anyone because when we have to make a midfield sub we just shuffle everyone around leaving a position totally uncovered.
  7. you obviously haven't kept yourself informed on the Taubira revolution, we're all naughty children now but spanking is no longer allowed so when you're really naughty they just give you half a crown, a big tub of Ben and Jerry's and tell you not to do it again otherwise they'll have to send you on holiday to a 5 star resort in the Bahamas.
  8. close 1986, still an 8 there though right.
  9. not F'Quenelle that's just a play on words, simply quenelle. Don't bother educating youself on Dieudonné though, it's 10 minutes of your life you'll not get back.
  10. Oh they're probably prepping everyone for the miracle of their intervention more likely.
  11. neither Davis nor Ward Prowse are suited to the DM role so when Cork went off we had absolutely nobody to do it. Now me, I'd have put Yoshida on and moved Lovren forward a notch but then that's just my opinion.
  12. L'Equipe was saying this morning that they could be forced to sell Morrison, didn't read the article though, wasn't interested and couldn't see who would actually give them money for him either.
  13. there were 5 ski related deaths in the Alps this last week-end, not one of them has been seen as important as Schumacher.
  14. well yes because I'm still waiting for an admission that he made many "friend requests" that he says he didn't make and that no-one had ever refused although loads of people had them sitting in abeyance to prove him wrong. I do feel that if he were proved to be so sparing with the truth again in such a way as he was deflecting every discussion away from any realistic basis then the admin would in fact have to do something about him.
  15. We were much better than the scoreline suggests, unfortunately our weakest elements weren't. The results of a team always come down to the level of it's weakest elements, it's as regular as gravity.
  16. Is it possible to watch Cagliari regularly in Glasgow, streams perhaps but it would seem like not a very likely thing to do to me. I mean you'd need a reason to do that wouldn't you so perhaps Glasgow would like to enlarge on that for us. I mean I could look at whoscored and come up with the stats and stuff and give an opinion but that wouldn't be like actually seeing him in a stadium would it. i gave my opinion on Lovren because I'd actually seen him play 5 or 6 times, it was far more accurate than most who believed crap written on OL websites.
  17. but that's wrong, he was a good player playing in a dud club with great expectations and a tea-boy manager. Last season Lyon were 3rd in the championship but this season they're about mid-table and look absolutely fokking awful. Aulas decides who's good and who's bad and the bad players are usually those he can get most money for and the good players are usually those who he pays the least.. Aulas is a knob on a par with Tan, he had absolutely no reason to sack Puel but he wanted better for less so he sacked Puel and got the tea boy in, took Puel about 3 years in the courts to get what he was owed.
  18. so not a glowing reference from someone who's actually seen him then. Mauricio said we weren't interested, that's good enough for me.
  19. In a different context no-one would have even noticed, trouble is Dieudonné has been larging it up of late and has been convicted of antisemitism and incitement of racial hatred numerous times. Now with our new nec plus ultra justice minister nobody goes to jail, a bit of a fine and a slap on the wrist and you're free to do whatever it was you did all over again. As I said France is in desperate trouble with the weak government and they try to make examples of silly things so they're trying to ban Dieudonné, if they want to ban him just put the fokker in prison, they'd have ample cause, he's been done time and time again for the same offence, but as no-one actually goes to prison for anything as I said, he'll just keep on doing it.
  20. Anyway it's just Cagliari trying to drum up sales, think that Naingollan is supposed to be interesting every club on the planet with a cheque-book as well. They'll both be at Cagliari come February because they want too much for not enough.
  21. well no, first team 22 points from 12 (up to and including Arsenal) Squad, ie the minute you have to let crap like Gazzaniga loose, 5 points from 7, so definitely not top half with the "squad"
  22. well that was a waste of ticket money then wasn't it. Can't see what they'd want with him.
  23. Horsehead will be playing again soon, maybe for the Cup game even...well so they say. Still think they'll go for Lambert though.
  24. Anyway he's promised not to do it again...where that will get him i just couldn't say.
  25. Azpilicueta is a right back but he's also extremely capable on the left, the sort of player we should be looking at if we're seriously considering being challengers for anything important at any time in the near future. they bought him for about 7 million I think. A really versatile player, We can only hope Clyne goes on to show as much ability on both sides.
