Yanga-Mbiwa was supposed to be the bee's bollicks but really he's distinctly average. Ligue 1 is a very poor championship these days, most NPC teams could hold their own with everything apart from Qatar FC. Mayuka gets a game at Sochaux, wasn't really in our first team plans, the list is endless.

Not really because he's got a couple of sides promoted to the PL these last years, he can get promotion but then he's out of his depth pretty quickly. Once again it's about being able to recognise a PL player when he sees one and then knowing what to do with him. I just can't repeat enough just how good you need to be to be even a bog average PL player simply because of the standard of the opposition.
