I, like him, think Liverpool are vastly overated, it's all about Suarez with them and when he c*cks up again, as he surely will, they're going to find getting results a bit more difficult.

As long as the money keeps going to the BL I don't really care. -

Well perhaps, then again I'm not over enamoured of making bookies £10 richer and myself £10 poorer. Don't bet myself. -

silly him then, he's got carried away by emotion. We won't win the title, unless of course we're going to make 3 or 4 major signings in January "just in case". Top 6 however is something else -

I see the French are starting to revive the "bleuet" (cornflower) again. Bit difficult to get your hands on but very pretty all the same. You can wear it twice a year as well, around Remembrance Day (day off for us) and the 8th of May. -
he did indeed, probably another private jet job, PSG don't consider cost anyway.
-
no it doesn't, think you've got your conversion the wrong way round 2 million euros is about 1.6M£,divide by 12 and it comes to somewhere around 130K£/ month.
-
And for the 27 (??) Pochettino games ?
-
He's out of favour because he is constantly unavailable and MPo is all about camaraderie and hard training. Gaston wasn't here for most of pre-season and he's been gone for 2 weeks 3 times since. So since July Gaston hasn't been available half of the time. We need to get this difficult qualification for Uruguay out of the way and then I think we'll see more of him. When the lads playfor England they're back on Wednesday before Saturday games but in Gaston's case it must be Friday moring every time.

Matt Targget has played for 2 home nations at the same age level. It's all a big f*ck up with the home nations. As per usual the Brits have to have their own rules for everything.
-
probably actually nets about 100K a month, you can still get a nice place for that I expect. Don't know how much Uruguay pay their players but there will probably be a handy bonus once they've crushed Jordan a couple of times. I know we as a club will get about 2800 dollars per player per day (standard period is about 33 days) so we can expect about 60000£ per player involved. No doubt participating assosciations will get a big hand out as well so bonuses for being there will be the order of the day.

getting a 10 game suspension helps I suspect. Midfield is a hard place to be (especially chez les Saints) if you don't have an ideal physical condition.
-
you need to be even paced to run a good marathon. You can't run the first half in 2 hours and the second half in 30 minutes, it really isn't a good analogy.

Good, he still has a lot to offer once he gets all these WC jaunts out of the way, Turkey on Wednesday, Montevideo the week after and then back to Saints thursday or friday with a game on saturday. It just can't work, he's always out of the first team ambiance, same as Maya really but in Japan's case they had a fairly easy road to an early qualification.

Exactly, it is absolutely shameful that crap like Mavuba,Sissoko and Guilavogui are getting called up and Morgan isn't. Déschamps has a big club, European competition mentality and the only way Morgan is going to see a blue shirt anytime soon is for the French to be destroyed by Ukraine in the play-offs and the c**t Deschamps sacked, might not happen though. Even if it does they'll probably replace him with Zidane who has about 3 months experience coaching Real's youth side, after that another 98 hero and another and yet another until they've all been tried and have failed.. Wenger prices himself out of the job every time, they won't take a foreigner so we just have endless sh*t at the helm.

so how do you explain the case of Diego Costa ?
-
no it's 5 years residence after the age of 18, being a scholar or not has nothing to do with it. After 5 years you become eligible to become a UK national (you have to ask for it though) and if you take that road you can play for your adopted nation unless you've played in an official competiton for another nation at senior level.
-
I am not sure that international friendlies count as official matches.
-
It is possible, only official senior matches count as prohibitory. Diego Costa played for Brazil U21s and he's now chosen Spain. The rules are clear, 5 year's residence after the age of 18 and no senior call up.

Suggests to me that the wheels are probably already in motion then; Morgan would need to write to the FA stating that he wants to play for England (if he does that is) and renounce any possibility of playing for France. I know he's a bit of a patriot but it depends just how much longer he's prepared to carry on being slapped in the face by the FFF and see inferior players tried out for the national side, there is a limit to everything. English football has given him everything that he has so he could eventually take the same attitude as Diego Costa. If MP has spoken about it it's no doubt because he's discussed it with Hogson or his team.

The Milton couldn't exist in today's football, people would be awanting to bring women and kids in there and that would be sort of fatal for them. On a good day when the team were playing well you got knocked about a fair bit in the Milton when everybody surged forward. If you were so unfortunate (or stupid) to take your young lady there she'd probably got felt up by about 3000 blokes on a good day (well presumably for her it was). There was one regular in there, Christine I think her name was, blond girl from down Fareham way, she absolutely loved it, police suggested to her that she might be better off in the Archers but she was having none of it.

Title race ? maybe not but we are in the mix for a top 6 finish, much will depend on our next 2 games. If we get nothing from them we could be lower top half again, 2 draws could see us maintain a top 6 challenge. I thought Arsenal looked fragile yesterday and Ramsey seemed to have run out of oofle dust and was back to his old sh*t self. Still they had a hard game on Wednesday and that could explain it.

So, things are looking up for us Eagles followers. A couple of wins over not too good looking teams have put us back into contention in the NFC East, if only Foles hadn't been such a wimp against Dallas we'd have it wrapped up by now. Still a win over the Boys next time should do the trick .

Crap player, bad attitude. 2 reds and 5 yellows in about 8 games this season. Not the sort of player you need really.
