Apparently he's just had a contract extension, don't know to when that takes him though, probably long enough to speak to us in english which i know for a fact he can do perfectly well. I see it more as a job creation scheme in the provinces.

Bendtner was absolute woeful on Sunday and Giroud looked as if he was saving himself for the Ukraine games, they had nothing at the sharp end, even Ozil was off the boil. Utd were not that great, decent side would have taken them. Mind you the virus infection that Mertsacker (and Rosicky) came down with just before the game may have affected others as well.

The Top Ten Conspiracy Theories - If You Believed One Of Them

Isn't one of the main points something to do with the capacity of the arm used to fire the number of shots in the time taken though. I've seen Oliver Stone's film but have never taken any great interest in the affair outside that. -
Le Tissier was reputed to be too lazy for Hoddle, imagine where that would put him for double seance, ice bath,no junk food Pochettino with a GPS vest and video analysis that shows up exactly what he does in training.

why not ? With a bit of constructive wagering he could cover that £1000 for about a tenner and have a chance of winning either way surely. If he could get say 101+/1 from a bookie on Saints finishing 3rd and then he takes the 1000£ wager on them not doing so he'd be bound to make a profit wouldn't he ? edit: Wow, just checked, misers like 888 are only giving 11/1 on us finishing top 4 and the best you can get is about 20/1,not taking any chances then are they.

Ah the old "qu'ils mangent de la brioche" always attributed to Marie-Antoinette of course. Trouble is when JJ Rousseau wrote that in his "Confessions", attributed to a Great Princess, Mare Antoinette was about 8 years old. Old JJ never names the "Great Princess" of course and as likely as not he simply made it up. -
Arsenal have only played 3 top teams as well, 2 at home and just one away, we've only played 2 top teams, both away and we haven't lost either game, you just can't tell how it's going to turn out, if you catch a side like Citeh after a Wednesday CL game somewhere in the depths of rural Europe you're as likely to beat them as you are say Norwich away. There's no mystery to the fact that Arsenal,Spurs and Citeh all lost last weekend they were worn down by their midweek matches and bascally there are no easy games in the PL. True some of those clubs have plethoric squads but with the 25 man ruling for senior players and not all of their players being of the same quality anyway European games seem to be evening up the contest, for the time being at least. Saturday 23rd is an excellent day to be playing Arsenal because all their French boys are going to take a hammering against the Ukraine twice before then and they'll be worn down as likely as not. Our lads only have friendlies with the exception of Gaston and Lovren of course. I think there is a single Arsenal first teamer(don't forget Flamini is suspended so that leaves just Arteta) not involved in some sort of international match in the 10 days to come, could be wrong though. We have at least 3.

Any decent player should be selected before Sissoko,Mavuba and Valbuena. Trouble is like everything else in France les bleus are politically motivated, you've got to have enough blacks, whites, greys or else that will **** off some section of the populace, you've got to have someone from Marseille, someone from Lyon, someone from PSG. If a team is doing well (in this case Lille) you've got to have one of their players at least, so it's far easier to ignore any player who isn't in the public eye every week. The groans about the non selection of Schneiderlin are becoming stronger and stronger, L'Equipe is campaigning for him nigh on every day as are the rest of the sporting press. But DD is mule headed and likes his binkies so really only defeat by the Ukraine will solve the problem in the immediate future but then it would be academic as no one wll play in Brazil this summer as far as the french are concerned.

Choccy boxes were above the Milton, don't remember there being any at the Archers Rd end, could have failing memory I suppose. At one time the choccys were for boys.
-
Suarez also came to the UK at 24 via Dutch football, a sort of halfway house between Latin Football and the rigours of the PL.
-
Who's that arriving after 2.05 of the video then, don't recognise him. Ah right Osvaldo I suppose

We can use it but before doing so we'd have to change the rules with FIFA, now whether we'd just have to tell them that we no longer wish to abide by an agreement (not a FIFA rule) or whether it would have to be agreed by the other 3 nations I have no idea. Depends on just how desperate for the players concerned we are really.

McCartney, famous one, all based on elements you can see on the cover of Sgt Pepper's. Wilson a soviet agent? Many gave a lot of creedence to that at one time, 5 just kept looking and looking but couldn't ties up enough ends to make it stick. I'd tend to believe that myself or it could be that there was an agent in his immediate entourage. Burgess, Philby,McClean,Blunt,Cairncross but in theory there should have been up to 12 more deeply enrooted moles. -
Just deprives players like Bale and Giggs of major international tournaments that's all it does. I mean in theory if the English FA had bee astute enough both of them could have been selected for England under the old rules. Then again as England don't select 16 year olds and Wales do it would never happen. Young players of above average talent from the home countries should think twice before signing up for these minor nations.

but they have as much chance as we do of picking up injuries. Most of our lads are just going for friendlies, only Lovren and Gaston have competitive matches. For Arsenal however some of them have the play-offs aganst those bruisers from the Ukraine, imagine them with Giroud or Sagna or Koscielny, they aren't as plush as all that with really, really good players.
-
65 huh, means they're in the bottom 2% of the populace, 2% of 65 million is about what 1.3 million people, so I suppose you could find 25K of them to support Stoke yes..
-
do what ? You obviously never went to an IOW festival, Solent crossing was about the only moment of sanity in 4 or 5 days.
-
where's he gone then ? Home for a few days ?
-
read it again then, 10 from 6 without, 13 from 5 with

Anyway he probably got a cut of the transfer and a signing on fee, probably covers most of whatever a house in Chilworth would cost. Didn't one of our more reliable contributors say he'd seen a mortgage application from the Gastons a while back ? Here ya go http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?46761-What-are-their-wages-per-week&highlight=mortgage+application

Ah but without Suarez it's 10 points from 6 I think and with 13 from 5. Extrapolate 10 from 6 over the season and they won't win the title, 13 from 5 means they might well do that. Surely they dropped off the top when we beat them at Anfield ? No Suarez that day, fortunately for us.
