  1. yellow Id guess
  2. I don't live in the past, if having given great service was a selection criteria then I'd guess we'd still be playing MLT, Channon and Paine. These 2 players are our weak links at present, they need replacing.
  3. nice volley but he needed to go down on it if you see what I mean. Lambert looks a yard or a yard and a half short all of the time. It's clearing frustrating the other players. They put balls into good areas except he's not where he should be.
  4. You can never tell from that miserable old 4-4-2 addict, we were good everywhere apart from Kelv,Rickie and Gaston.
  5. we've all seen it on TV,
  6. who knows, couldn't see from Sky, maybe later.
  7. not at all, we weren't bad at all, nothing up front as usual.
  8. Good result, deserved to win though Thanks Chris we'll see you alright next Christmas.
  9. Well I thought we looked OK, doing well in midfield, CBs solid, only trouble is we have a buffoon in goal and a useless lump in attack
  10. exactly what I said yesterday although I of course dropped Lambert.
  11. can't get much worse than this season still I shall no doubt watch the Giants game on Sunday. Vick starting apparently, should be better. Jest or Cardinals for him next season ?
  12. although not an expert on Fulham's defensive frailties, I've remarked that most of the goals they concede of late are scored by players who run at defences (Taraabt,Ben Arfa, Defoe, Suarez even Downing) what that don't seem to concede are headed goals and tap ins. So we need to run at them so I'd guess that Gaston and J Rod would be best for that. I like Lee but I just despair of ever seeing him in the first team again. Think he'll be off soon, new season in Japan in March I think.
  13. Right on cue !!
  14. We need pace in attack, Lambert doesn't have any, he also makes us totally transparent, his time has come and gone as a starter.
  15. Davis (not willingly but we won't play Boruc and Gazza isn't fit ) Clyne Yoshida Fonte Shaw Morgan Cork Davis Gaston Puncheon J Rod
  16. All the more reason not to regret not signing him really..
  17. would have meant the end of Lambert, that's a step too far for most, including the transfer committee.
  18. scores a lot of goals in training apparently, Tommy Forecast no doubt made a few saves in training as well. Jamboree bag selection policy last Saturday, transfer window time.
  19. Seahawks, now that's Pete Carroll isn't it USC coach not long back ? Sometimes this season I've come round to thinking that a lot of the old school coaches have lost their way a bit. Everything has become over-intricate and much wood has not been seen for trees. Carroll has certainly turned them around in 2 seasons.
  20. It's deeper than that. On Saturday we were woeful from the kick off. First thing we did after rolling the ball back from the centre-spot was for José to hoof it forward anywhere to be gobbled up by Sunderland who broke and forced a decent save from Kelv. Then Rickie and Gaston contrived to just give them the ball, then Punch handballed it needlessly, then he fell over his own feet instead of getting a decent shot in. It was all wrong from the off, something wasn't kosher.
  21. And yet when we "spoke" of Michu last summer everybody seemed to think he was a midfielder. I just wish we had Laudrup as a manager cos he seems to be able to find what he needs in what he has already.
  22. well seemingly we want so much competiton for places that the players sh@g themselves out in training every week trying to prove that their actual match performance last week wasn't just a fluke. Adkins is just too much, if you don't score 50 goals in training matches instead of preparing yourself for Saturday you're out mate. That's the impression you get listening to his latest interviews.
