A smart move then would have been to get him a NPC/L1 loan so that Adkins didn't have an excuse to bring him back as son as Gazza screwed up a bit (or a lot as the case may be). KD's continued presence in the side can only be due to NA's misplaced loyalty towards him, there can be no other rational explanation. It was wrong last summer but having learnt the hard way we've fallen into the same trap again.

anyone who can't admit that Arsenal have a better coaching structure than Saints is a dreamer at best. Anyone who won't admit that playing in the CL albeit bit parts rather than scrubbing about at Hull or Palarse is a fool. All players should "be all they can be" and for that SFC isn't setting the bar any too high. If you are not playing for a top club with a respected manager and coaches it will negate your chances of international competition and you will see players of equal or even inferior ability getting the nods in front of you. Has happened to Cork,Lallana and Morgan already.

how come ill advised, lad has had an England place and is getting a pretty regular game for one of the country's top few clubs. No doubt earning a shedload as well not to mention working with some of the best coaches in the land. Can't see anything ill advised about any of that. In fact I'd say to any of our players who get a decent offer from a top 10 side to go for it. Then again as most will know I'm not over impressed by what I see of our coaching.

what pace ? Reckon GR was very doubtful myself, bench filler only to be played in dire necessity and I'm getting the impression that NA only played Mayuka a couple of games back under duress. Seems we have a couple of players that NA doesn't want here and he's determined to have nothing to do with him whilst he's picking the side. In my opinion he'll be gone if we get beaten on Tuesday anyway but I'm hopeful that we won't.

Not sure that Shilts wasn't a bit of a smoker, he certainly had an eye for the ladies and a bit more than that as a rule. Used to bump into him in the Silhouette from time to time, rarely with the same woman though.

Guly doesn 't get enough game time, if he'd played more he might not have missed. Pace of the PL is hard to adapt to.

Saw some of the Arse-Toon game yesterday, most of it in fact, thought Newcastle were absolute junk in midfield and gifted Arsenal numerous free balls. Tiote was the prime offender, probably just dreaming him way to the ANC. Obertan however gave Sagna a pretty torrid time down the left for a while perhaps we could do that as well. Someone needs to get a grip on Wilshere, wind him up a bit, he'll get sent off if we do that, plays on Cork's side usually so that's his job then.

Perhaps Gaston wasn't really fit, I mean he must have been benched for a reason I suppose. Adkins did speak of "knocks" before the game I think. Unless Gaston has some sort of pyschological problem arising from his recent bereavement. We'll need him against the Arse so maybe he wasn't risked. Still not seen much of the game but I do wonder how much the first half performance burnt out of those of our players who play every minute of every game.
