  1. To be fair Frimpong has been held up as a "good signing" in every Saints HCDAJFU thread since about 1926. Same old, same old.
  2. that would be logical yes; Sunderland are the type of side JRod could score against.
  3. Ah right, down by the kennels, a classic contributor to Dorset's coffers. Pretty well know spot for Gatso vans.I think there are even marks on the road to help them line it up quickly.
  4. Benoit Tremoulinas, from Bordeaux. Good little player but there's such a difference between English football and French football it's really difficult to say whether he'd make the transition quickly enough. He's not very big and isn't great in the tackle or in the air. Probably better going forward than defensively. If we're really looking at French "lateraux" then I'd hope it would be Serge Aurier from Toulouse, can play either side although he's better on the left. Ivory coast player, young and quick.
  5. Fox, Dickson whatever, none of them are going to be playing at left mid for Saints at any time soon. We will merely shuffle the pack, 3 candidates for the job for me, Davis,Guly and JWP.
  6. seem to remember it was against all future revenues yes, don't know enough to be sure about that though. In fact I know nothing more than was exposed on the thread we had about it.
  7. bet they're not, PFC are veritable Houdinis.
  8. Fonte then Morgan if it follows the order from last season.
  9. Plus 10 hours difference sounds like a clerical error, typing 1100 hrs instead of 2100hrs. They've got the photo, he'll get done but as he thinks he's smarter than the state he's determined to go down his own road. When you get nicked you admit that it's a fair cop and pay up.
  10. since when did we know the amount ?
  11. If he were to be back say for mid february he'd have missed about 8 league games. Still don't doubt we have good options to replace him temporarily.
  12. Malta half (and full) are pretty much downhill most of the time. Start is about 650/700 ft above the finish. Traffic can be a problem if you're at the tail end but for the main race body it's pretty much under control.
  13. I'm still miffed about the 4 points Gazza threw away, bet Nigel is too, didn't he bawl them out for not beating Swansea ? We're still hovering just above the bottom 3 on a better GD, something that we wouldn't be if we had 4 points more. Still as long as we're 17th or better come the end of the season it will be acceptable.
  14. oops, keyboard operation isn't my forté. Brain goes much quicker than fingers.
  15. principal problem with Guly is that we're using him as an odd job man wherever necessary; Needs a fixed role. Anyway I don't doubt that we're witnessing his last weeks at the club, back to Brazil very soon I suspect.
  16. that's because you don't get the full matchday package. When you're actually in the stadium the stoppages are filled by dancing girls or mascots doing dumbass stuff. I like NFL but then I've actually been to a few games and have bothered to find out the salient facts about pass interference and stuff like that. Don't quite see what the mongy crowds have to do with your dislike as you're probably only watching it on TV.
  17. that criteria could be applied to a certain number of our players.
  18. it means overriding, prime or vital. It's like important among importants if you like.
  19. reckon he'll get done myself because it's up to him to contest the details on the NIP and ask for a personal hearing.
  20. Guly plays in a style that the majority of English fans can't comprehend. Now if he rushed about like a blue assed fly and put in some RSH tackles like Chaplow he'd be the fan's favourite.
  21. don't they spell defence as defense? Alway's strikes me as strange, they insist on writing defense but when they're at "football" they hold up bits of fence (which they know how to spell apparently because they don't write fense) with a De in front of them. Mind you if you listen to most of them real English is just a UK variation of their language.
  22. So you don't think any policeperson will read your post and make sure you pay and get points then? Have you read the small print ?
  23. Don't know anything about most of those but N'Koulou is rubbish.
  24. Even less of a coincidence the USAF put the X37B up again yesterday afternoon after many coincidental "delays". Wouldn't worry about a tinpot state like North Korea if I was you, a few yards off trajectory and their "rocket" would have been destroyed.
  25. which merely illustrates my point yesterday that French football in general is rubbish, these were both top goalscorers in Ligue 1. Anyway I see that O'Neill says that Sunderland are still in trouble....a point which we should keep in mind seeing as we're now a point below them from an equal number of games.
