thought the photo looked familiar, I'm sure I've seen her in a film.

Ah the amazing ignorance of your average PFC fan, if any of them actually make average that is.
-
but with the money having been as unwisely spent as it would seem to be I ask myself whether it's really relevant at all. We could have gone out and blown 35 million on a striker, whether that would guarantee better results I just couldn't say, especially with our goalkeeping situation..

Not sure that there's any actual quote in the article which confirms the Echo's assertion that no more players will go out on loan. As far as I can see it just rules out Lee and De Ridder. I mean KD is hardly likely to make any impact from the bench is he ?
-
Perhaps he can let it out to DiMatteo/Bernitez/Friedel
-
might as well give it to some deserving cause that you can deduct from your income tax. Beckham is even quoted for the Chelsea manager's job; Anyone who bets on Beckham for such things needs protecting from themself. I see NA isn't even quoted yet but that Hughes is only 66/1. Laurent Blanc 25/1 now there might be a bit of an investment.
-
Perhaps we couldn't even afford Di Matteo, perhaps he wouldn't even be interested. Plenty of big jobs will be available in the next few months, Spurs and Liverpool for starters.
-
good job we're playing on Sunday then
-
think we will, for the immediate future anyway. Will depend on the next couple of results I suspect. We're not out of the drop zone yet and if we're still in it after the Norwich game things might be seen differently.
-
Think of theoretical managerial swaps whatever happened to the Hughes/NA job swap you heard it here first affair ?
-
not so easy playing in midfield. If you're an attacker and you f*ck up it isn't the end of the world, lose the ball in midfield and it's far more serious. Midfield in top flight teams is a hard place to play. You don't get too many credits for what you do well and you get a lot of stick for stuff that you do less well. Look at the idiots who are always criticising our midfield on this very forum; Lambert and Lallana have an off game..meh, Morgan,Cork or Davis..we need new players.

Bet the bookies are pleased, they can now trouser all those next sacking bets on odds on candidates like Nigel and Hughes.

[quote=Nigel=God-Poyet=Sod;1534420 Football is so unpredictable at times. Shame for Di Matteo, seems a very genuine chap. Football maybe, Abramovich...not so much.
-
Good sponsor though
-
As long as we don't go for any more home-made stuff I'm pretty unconcerned really.
-
not at all, I wouldn't want him. Don't think he's had many offers from English clubs because most of them know he's finished. Still Paris Bling FC will give him a couple of million because that's what they're about. Never in the history of football has so much money been spent on so much rubbish. Perhaps Beckham fancies the manager's job when they give Ancelotti the heave-ho.
-
my my what a gung ho team, there are no defensive midfielders in it. Looks like a bit of a 4-0-6
-
they could have saved a lot of the coloured ink though. You don't need cake graphs to show the difference between 72% and 28%. Depends if it's only PDF I guess
-
I think what they're finding out is that when you have first teamers injured the replacements aren't quite as good. They have defenders out don't they? If we had to go back to Jos (as we did against West Ham) we'd notice that it's not the same as with José and Maya. In the last 2 weeks we have seen the massive difference between Steve Davis and Jack Cork.
-
or we might even try one of our much vaunted youngsters.
-
In fact not a bad contribution to the UK economy at all, especially as some of it would seem to be middle east money.
-
the slip is for March 2010, 08/09 seems to figure in the company name but as that's when the sheikhs took them over it figures.
-
20K £ a month for accomodation, sounds like an awful lot, especially for 08/09
