Lallana doesn't play wide, every time I see him he's down the inside left channel; In fact I think if you study the videos Rickie is often a lot wider than Adam. Really can't see any reason to change the system we used from 40 minutes onwards on Saturday.

the less I see of Reeves the better I like it TBH. Guly will suffice or Punch will switch sides allowing Guly to go right but I do like the Punch/Clyne pairing so best leave it as it stands.

I really think that what saved Nigel's place was that the recruitment went largely over his head. It's not unknown to ask your employer to officially note that certain decisions have been taken contrary to your wishes or advice. Now if NA (in theory) had opposed certain signings and contractual decisions last summer then the club would be in a bad place for subsequently sacking him.

Just what we need, aother 6/7 million £ wasted on a theoretical replacement for Lambert. You can't drop Lambert, he'll throw a wobbly again or if he doesn't the fans will and he's very rarely injured. Our monies will be far better spent on defensive players and a top class keeper, only thing that needs fixing, the rest ain't broke. If we'd had a real keeper from day 1 we'd be top half by now, without JRod or Hooper.

Phillips is a good bit younger though, made his PL debuts at about 18 ish I think, Lallana's stats are a bit doped by the 20 odd he scored in our first league 1 campaign, subsequent seasons have seen him scoring less and less.
