  1. Something he's done on numerous occasions this season. For Saturday it just depends whether Morgan is fully fit or not, wasn't for the Boro game apparently.
  2. Didn't they send 500 or so back to us though?? Anyway reckon there will be a lot of Saints fans their end . Some of them are apparently trying to sell their tickets and we'd seem to have plenty of candidates to buy them, even if it's outside the ground on Saturday morning.
  3. Aren't some of them trying to offload them now though?? Think that was on the forum yesterday, post by PUBS.
  4. Really?? That's the trouble with French commentators, they get so excited about Messi all the time it's as if he's the only player on the pitch. Looked at the incident in the SM,watched the ball and the feet and didn't really notice who'd fallen over, just assumed it was that little Argentinian diver.
  5. Saw it on TV Well they were already pretty much behind the ball before Terry got sent off.Drogba was pretty damn handy at right back though. Didn't look to have fouled Messi for the penalty either, played the ball and Messi fell over him. Seeing as they lost both Cahill (to injury early on) and Terry they held up pretty well in defence.
  6. They did cancel a day in those parts yes but which one it was I couldn't say. Then there's the story that I heard at a conference once that somewhere in the Bible there's a day that the Sun stood still and some NASA expert had run all that through some giant computer and did find evidence that the Sun stopped moving for about 23hrs at some time in ancient history. Can't remember the rest though, bloke who told me it was a bit hammered at the time as well.
  7. Hah epic. Chelsea took "parking the bus" to a whole new level, almost an art form.
  8. Me I'd not tart about looking for full backs in the lower leagues. I'd look in the PL, in France or in Holland. Just need to ask Alan Pardew to give us some clues.Sneaky barsteward has already signed up young Romain Almafitano from Reims, great little player as an offensive midfielder.Bet we'd never even heard of him, Morgan must know him though. We need to broaden our horizons on scouting.
  9. Hope so but I still remember that evening I spent at Wembley in 1974 when Brian Clough described Tomazewski as "a clown". England with Clark,Chivers and Channon spearheading the attack must have created 60,70,80 clear cut chances, barstard saved every one of them.
  10. Then again he's a bit of a nutter sometimes..Nick I mean.
  11. Won't pretend to understand any of that to be honest. In the beginning you said he had tickets for himself and his wife which he obtained free of charge from his work, then you said he'd get sacked if he sold you his ticket.... but what about his wife's !!!
  12. Yes saw him there. Didn't see: Billy,Morgan,Kelvin,Bart,Chaplow,Puncheon,Falque
  13. Must be one of these people who draws their finger across their mouth (like me) and says ZIP when they realise they've said something stupid.
  14. What would be really handy is if it was live on L'Equipe TV,cos if it isn't I'll be tempted to watch it on a stream and I have a very bad track record on that. In the last 4 weeks: Watched 4 Won 0 Drawn 1 Lost 3 So if there's no live real TV broadcast for me here then I think I'd better stick with Saints Player. Mind you having said that I guess all the other streamwatchers have the same dilema.
  15. You are so right, I read it as Forte and wrote some snide comment about scoring all the way from Preston being a miracle goal of the millenium or something. Then I saw what I'd done and scrubbed it for a zip.
  16. yep, wrong post probably.
  17. the only circumstance in which it can go to head to head is if GD is equal and goals scored are equal. The current figures are: GD Saints +35 West Ham 32 GS Saints 81 West Ham 79 you just have to factor in the various possibilities and see if it's still all square for both of these figures. So for Saints 2-2, West Ham would need to score 4 goals and win by 3 for the GD and the GS to remain equal. You can work out all the scenarios that would provoke comparison of HTH results.
  18. Would he still get sacked if he took you along instead of his wife ?? You sure that he isn't pulling your plonker about this?
  19. there think that's right
  20. doubt if he's even still here.Maybe we're saving him for the play-offs that we won't be in.
  21. Look you've got to get this straight. Our midfield players can all run with the ball,Morgan,Cork,Hammond,Lallana,Guly,Chaplow, all of them. Our management don't want them to run with the ball unless they're in certain positions. We seem to have this Barcelona fixation of pass and move, not running the ball.Let Chelsea kick their ass tonight, perhaps our system will change. It's the manager that makes the playing system not the players, they just do as they're asked.
  22. Perhaps he knew that people would be expecting him to play with an injury again whereas if we'd won he'd be on some well needed R+R with just a trot out for the last 10 minutes to salute the crowd.Perhaps he's like me,seeing wasted chances every match just p*sses him off.Not to mention awful refereeing.
  23. not sure that Saints use that policy any more.We should be well capable of beating Coventry without AL.
  24. No it isn't it's a multi-million £/annum business.Football games are now only played on public recreation grounds .
