  1. 3-3-2 away form over the rest of the season (15 away games) would give us another 22 away points, leaving us needing to get about 24 from our remaining 14 home games.Saints now need a bit more than 8 points from every 4 home games because of the fantastic start we've had.
  2. I'll have to wait until I have 94 minutes of tangible evidence on Kettle to prove that. Walton was dire, inexcusably dire on Saturday and to my mind Brighton suffered the consequences more than Saints. If he hadn't been such an absolute knob with the first penalty Tarricco wouldn't have sworn at him and wouldn't have been sent off,it's bad enough having a penalty wrongly given (for that incident) against you but to be punished with a sending off because of it just doubles the wrongness of the affair. If you look at the gallery on the OS you'll see Saints players committing fouls on Brighton players in pictures 6,7 and 8,doubt if any of those were punished.Picture 9 shows a Brighton foul, doubt if thatgot punished either. That ref was unacceptably bad and that's all.
  3. Well it's a metaphysical question isn't it.I'd guess that quite a few people find the idea of gayness revolting but it seems that you're not allowed to say so(or at least in public) now.Freedom of speech yes but not about taboo subjects.
  4. Surely that's just a statement of personal opinion. I dislike my next door neighbour but doubt if I'd get arrested for saying so.
  5. Completely deluded(not surprising for a West Ham fan): Morgan and Cork are both already far better players at 22 and improving than Nolan will ever be.If they're counting on Nolan to get them back to the PL they're in for a long wait.
  6. 45 points needed from 29 remaining games that we could lose nearly half of them and still get automatic promotion provided that we keep winning at home. We're in a great situation and I really don't see us blowing it. Need to not tinker with the team too much though. I'd go with the squad we have now + 1 decent CB until the end of the season.
  7. Why?
  8. Forget Hazard,on his performance for Belgium the other day he's worth nearer 30 bob than 30 million.
  9. Trouble is next time it could all go against us. Crap refs need weeding out of the game. Brighton could have had a couple of penalties for imaginary offences as well.
  10. Seems to be OK,was earlier on as well.Don't know about Player though, TV for me today.
  11. On an aside note..did not someone assure me last season that Ryan Harley was the dog's doings and that we should sign him up?? Oh dear,Oh dear what an abysmal player he actually is. On another aside note CMS would be better off (other than financially) to have stayed at Posh,he's wasted on totally uncreative Brighton.
  12. 2nd Penalty, I've seen it a few times and it's not absolutely certainly whether the Brighton player clips Lambert's heel or not. I'd say his foot passes beneath Lambert's but suppose the top of his boot could clip the underside of Lambert's studs,RL goes down like a sack of shîte though, guess he fancied his hat-trick.
  13. True you can't complain because most of it was in our favour,Walton's refereeing was completely lopsided, we got penalties for actions that Brighton got absolutely f-all for.The ref was a joke, wait until you've seen some close up,slowed down film, you'll see what I mean.
  14. I thought WE were crap in the first half, pretty clueless but Brighton couldn't capitalise on it.Thought the ref was absolutely dire, if he made 100 decisions today 99 of them must have been wrong,in this case 2 wrongs definitely made a right though.
  15. Just noticed we're on L'Equipe TV again so i won't have to bother with catching a stream.
  16. think we might go behind and then fight back for a 3-2 win.
  17. In fact Guly has scored the same number of league goals from open play as Lambert, he'll never acheive the same status with the fanbase though.
  18. What you have to remember here is that we had virtually guaranteed our accession to the first division on the previous Tuesday, there would have been some serious celebrating over that (sports science still hadn't been invented in 78) and we might have been in a less than spry state when we took the field on Saturday against Spurs. As far as the title was concerned Bolton may have been able to score at will in their last game, I just don't remember(mainly due to serious celebrating on the bus back friom Brisbane Rd)
  19. I certainly went to the game but from memory I'd say that it was a case of neither side being arsed to get a result rather than any pre-arranged affair. 30+ years ago but it certainly was a sh*t game.
  20. because there's a lot of grannying about not a lot.
  21. why wait Anyway perhaps it will help him to cut out the Giant Haystacks stuff.
  22. The Cardinals are probably fractionally closer actually depends exactly where you are in LV. Still they're probably no better than the Bolts at this moment, you could always try the 49 ers, they're on a hot streak.
  23. put me down for Connolly and Martin in the sweepstake then.
  24. He's a strange one is TT,like some comic character out of the Lion or Boy's Own. If and when he learns to throw the ball with some accuracy he'll be unstoppable...and you couldn't bet on him not learning could you.I must admit I used to like watching the Gators steamroller other College sides.
  25. I used to work at Butlins as a kitchen porter when I was a student, a fine experience, free holidays, some pocket money and guaranteed sh*gging for 8-10 weeks.
