Southampton plan double swoop for midfield stars
Window Cleaner replied to John B's topic in The Saints
I've been reading Portail Vert 51 (ASSE Forum), the news has reached them (via reports from the Sun) and they are quite surprised that it would cost them 1 million euros for a Division 3 player, obviously a lot of idiots on there as well. Stock played very little part in doncaster's campaign last season so wherever they finished wasn't much to do with him. -

And obtaining a reduced price in exchange, there is an instalment plan, pay for your ticket every other week at the ground.Club must know that there would be a minor fuss about this so they really must know why they're doing it. Probably something to do with not inciting people to take on credit which they may not be able to afford.

still he comes from Winchester (or somewhere around there) and does facebook so that makes him good right !! We could do so much better than he, by keeping Morgan for starters. -

AP could probably buy someone more suited to League 1 yes, but it would take a lot of money to buy someone as good as Morgan who will never be a real force at this level.THe lads talents are by far superior to our league, those of players around him are detrimental to them. It's a strange situation but not unknown, if you drop say Giggs or Lampard to this level they would probably be far less effective than they actually are, it's football, -

not much of a history book then, Corsica was ceded to France by the Kingdom of Genoa in 1768, ie one year before Napoleon's birth. He was born in Corsica after it became part of France. Before unification in about 1860 Italy as we know it was just a mishmash of kingdoms, duchies and papal states. -

Probably not yet, it was an "up to"sum. Trouble is playing in League 1 isn't good for any talented player, gives them bad habits and they lose value. I watched most of the Toulon Festival games and the same comment kept recurring on the Franch commentaries "League 1 that's like playing in the National (french semi pro third division)isn't it, that's a strange choice he made there" they didn't seem to know anything about our relegation or troubles last year.Playing for Saints is damaging his standing and will continue to do so, so he might well accept a lower Ligue 1 club to get out of it if enough pressure is put on him to do s. Don't mind myself, I watch StE about 15 games a season so I'd certainly gain in the exchange. -
two possible reasons, the sun drenched beaches or the number of drug dealers per square foot.

except that they were probably doctors and lawyers back in their country of origin.Still never mind it would probably give a couple of less cerebral punters a chance...although they'll probably find it too demeaning for them. That's the problem in the UK nobody wants the sh*t jobs any more with long hours and good pay, they want short hours and even better pay and illimited internet access during working hours of course.
-
It's probably taking a long time because they need it to take a long time, probably because if it doesn't we will make a profit and have to hand over money to the tax man.Don't doubt that we'll be hearing something very soon, end of the week maybe.

As would any top 5/6 EPL side, because they themselves are composed uniquely of high class internationals.
-
They've got that wrong then, South Africa should be Skatesville, loads of violent crime, everyone lives in hovels and it's full of pikeys.Holding the WC in such a place is asking for trouble, like having all cup finals and play-offs games in Portsmouth, bastards won't go unless it's free.

I was down at Guichard the other day, helping with the younger players, didn't hear any rumours about Morgan though.Still could have been some sort of informal approach when he was down in Toulon I suppose. It's no secret that the FFF want him playing at what they consider to be a higher level, St Etienne doesn't fit that description though, not really. What is more it's all very political down there just now the sporting director has just quit after a row ith the president and Galtier (the coach) is under review. -
Although I would doubt that Nicola thinks he has made either of these "mistakes". to me pricing is about right and he obviously has his reasons for delaying season tickets sales .
-
Wouldn't selling season tickets twice in the same financial year throw the books out a bit and lead to prospective increased taxation?
-
ah right, if you hear it in Trevor Mitchell's it must be true.....or it used to be anyway, all the lads used to go there, talked to Lawrie Mac in there once.

Morgan looked far better in last night's game, recovered a lot of balls and used them pretty well; Got injured when a pair of crunching sliding tackles collided for a 50/50 ball.Went off with a knock at the top of the shin apparently, looked in no little discomfort and they were applying ice packs to it.
-
I think the problem with the French in this game was the superior physical condition of the Danes. Most of them are older than the French lads and a couple have already played at full international level. Morgan looked pretty knackered really,as did most of his team-mates, probably because he's played 4 games in 8 days, because of the straight red that a French player got in the first game and the two yellows that Belhanda had run up thus eliminating him from the Denmark game. I'm not sure that the very deep role that he seemed to have been given really suits him either.

You could always do like others and contribute to the 5 million work hours lost last Friday by Google's Pacman 30th birthday issue.
-
He'd better be quick about it then, fitness assessment starts in just over a week ..or I think it does anyway.
-
Not a great start from them either, Tomlinson pummeled for 26 off his first 2 overs, Cork a bit less, 11 off 10 balls
-
And there you go Neil Mckenzie gets us there with a 6, good bloke will now become a cult hero no doubt
-
Millwall probably banked on them being an easier option than ourselves, which is why they let them win at a canter in April. Most of us thought they'd give Huddersfield a good beating on that fateful Friday night but Millwall didn't turn up...wonder why.

The Espoirs are in fact the U23s, it's a category that runs throughout French sport between Juniors 18/19 yrs and Seniors which start at 23. In the group which has gone to Argentina there are players who are nearly 23 and some 19 year olds. These players are basically playing for or on the fringes of French Ist division clubs or playing overseas. Morgan looked pretty good last night,as if he was used to regular first team football. That Russian ref was a real a/h though, kept whistling up for stuff that would go unnoticed in any regular football match. As for the sending off, well it was deserved of course, but as per usual he should have sent them both off, the Colombian slapped the French lad who then retaliated. FIFA has to clamp down on the original offender as well as the player who retaliates as it's hardly ever the case at the moment. A last note, the overhead kick expert was just on loan from Auxerre to Dijon last season, now wouldn't he be a great loan replacement for Papa?
