corp.. that is alot of players leaving the club...so far, you have that left back..belhagdj or whoever.. he is already there... but to lose that many players and some who DO play a part (and im guessing many are starters/first teamers)...and the fact you are (like many clubs) going to fill the money pinch.. how on earth are you going to have a decent squad size with any quality...? lets say..you lose at least either defoe/distin/johnson also.. does not leave alot..

but burley was linked with prem jobs...birmingham in particular and Rangers.. he was THE BEST available at the time...even in the press he was dismissed as a candidate due to the lowe factor.. he came..and worked with a funny title for a while.. so, bash lowe for all sorts but an out of work manager will tend to want to work.... as shown with burley 2 years ago or so..

i remember quite well...burleys name was mentioned after arry left..he immediately dismissed on here and everywhere else due to the fact he would never work with lowe after what happened at hearts and derby... he did work with lowe AND SCW...... so, i dont tend to buy the line that "no one will work with lowe"...

but...the same said when burley arrived..."we will get no one worth their salt because of lowe.." then we got burley who had a big reputation.. so excuse if I dont buy that line...
